Though one perspective is terrifying and Dream could've brought Tommy back as the complete opposite of himself, I worded it out as DREAM'S first attempt. There was a resurrection attempt made before Dream even got in Pandora's Vault, and that resulted in Ghostbur slightly merging with JSchlatt.

hi!! i’ll edit this comment as i watch to answer as many questions as i can :) 2:38 - not a question but in the dream smp finale (when tommy and tubbo had the final showdown with dream and put him in prison), tommy heard wilbur (not ghostbur) talking to him and saying that he was proud. he also said that he “felt tommy’s presence” in the afterlife and thought he was going to die, but that he never seems to. i can’t remember if you actually reacted to this bit or not. 12:09 - i.. disagree, solely for the fact that ranboo’s lack of presence in the prison was confirmed by sam. in this case, sam confirmed a) that tommy died in the prison, b) that he heard dream laughing past the lava after he beat tommy to death. unless sam was also in on this (or dream jerbaited sam with the laughing), i think this is definitely real on tommy’s part. however, there is also the question of how revival works - are you revived where your body is, or are you revived to where the person who revived you is (aka by dream). this raises the question for whether, if (when) wilbur is resurrected, will he appear in the crater that was l’manburg or with dream inside the prison. to my knowledge, sam didn’t move tommy’s body, so we don’t know for sure how it works. 13:56 - no, but wilbur confirmed that he was stuck in the afterlife with schlatt when he came back to talk to tommy for a bit, so it makes sense. 16:30 - you have to remember that tommy and wilbur’s relationship before wilbur died wasn’t the best. wilbur consistently manipulated tommy before his death, and when they suggested to tommy that they revive wilbur a couple months back, tommy wasn’t actually supportive of the idea. wilbur and dream’s characters are both extremely similar in terms of how they treat other people (specifically tommy). 18:04 - i actually subscribe to the theory that dream is possessed/influenced to some extent by a dreamon. i also think a dreamon is possibly what’s in the egg, but i could be incredibly wrong on both accounts lmao. 19:02 - also, i was watching foolish’s stream after tommy’s stream where he was trapped inside the prison due to the tnt explosion, and foolish had tnt in a chest. he obviously dismissed it with chat, laughing through it, but it is sus of him lmao. 34:11 - i mean, i always took the revival book to be a literal thing (dream actually said on stream ages ago that the reason he switched to schlatt’s side during the war was because schlatt offered him the book, so i never doubted that it was actually real). 39:38 - sam apparently shouted at dream whilst dream was laughing over tommy’s body. sam was also in vc on tubbo’s stream after tommy died, sounding really shaken by what had happened. 40:13 - i think sam took it as a security risk to remove the body - why would he retrieve the body if he wouldn’t even let alive tommy out? also, dream is fed by an automatic potato farm. and, to my understanding, the netherite blocks go up when the surrounding lava drains out, not when there’s a visitor. when dream is just in there on his own, the netherite blocks would still be down. 51:05 - the only main things i think you have left are the ‘tales from the smp’ episodes, perhaps a few of the prison visits (e.g. sapnap - there’s a bit at the end of his visit that’s very important to ranboo lore) and some techno lore (like his “the egg” stream, and the one from today also).
I mean, Dream *IS* the only person who is known for sure to have been possessed by a Dreamon. Ponk did briefly start flying and claimed to have sold his soul to one, but this has seemingly been dropped.
The thing with Jack manifold is that when he died he chose to come back and said screw it I have all my lives back, with Tommy dream revived him and basically dragged him back out of the afterlife.
You do have to agree, Dream plays such a good antagonist. You know the acting is good that you can see his confident smerk, even though he is literally a emotionless white and green pixilated avatar. I have mad respect for the acting even though his character terrifies me.

You just haven't seen the "fanfare" for Tommy's death, but there was actually quite a lot! I suggest looking up Captain Puffy's, Ranboo's, and Tubbo's in lore streams for more *S A D* feelings Also at 42:30 you hit the nail on the head! Dream's manipulation works so well on people like Tommy, Ranboo, Tubbo, & Wilbur because he knows how to grab onto the paranoid, intrusive, and terrifying "what if" worst-case scenarios and make them seem like an obvious fact. And it terrifies the people he manipulates into being compliant with what he wants.
@@YoBGS Yeeepppp, Dream as an actor just *excels* at playing the maniacal villain, which can be really difficult for some folks! I will never stop giving him the biggest props for improving as an actor since the beginning of the roleplay!
I think you're overestimating the amount of times people visited Dream. The only one who came to see him more than once was Ranboo, who wasn't even aware of his visits until he had literal nightmares about it. Not to mention, Sam has canonically revoked Dream's visitor privileges as punishment for killing Tommy. Between that and the automatic feeding system, he wouldn't actually need to check on Dream directly for quite a while, unless he received another alarm. Theoretically, Tommy could break a block in order to alert Sam, but due to the mining fatigue and lack of tools it would take him literal, real-world DAYS of non-stop mining. Canonically, he's not in a state of mind to be able to handle that. At the same time, he is being severely affected by his trauma here in assuming that Sam would hold his warden responsibilities above Tommy's well-being, with good reason - he's already done so once by leaving him in the cell in the first place. At this point, basically every mentor or family figure Tommy has had on the SMP has chosen something else over Tommy. Wilbur did it with his "unfinished symphony," Tubbo did it with L'Manberg, Techno with his drive for vengeance, and Phil with his loyalty to Techno. For him, it's completely logical to assume that Sam would do the same. And he still hasn't even found out about Nicki and Jack's intent to murder him. Poor kid.

There's this theory going around that Tommy and Wilbur planned in the like two months (death time) that Tommy was gone on how to deal with Dream and get Wilbur revived. This is because, whilst Wilbur was a bit unnerving near the end, what we heard and what Tommy describes of death are so very different. Edit: Also about Tommy not beating up Dream. Imagine you're beaten to death by your abuser, then are revived and asked how literal death felt. Canonically Tommy is indeed a child and is so brutally traumatised that I doubt he would dare try and kill Dream
Dream plays such a convincing irredeemable evil character. The added aspect of him not streaming it makes his motives even more mysterious. I'm intrigued to see where it goes next. Also to get the full impact of Tommy's death on the server, I would suggest watching people like Tubbo, Jack Manifold, and Captain Puffy react to his death. Thank you for the reaction!

You really got see some reactions to Tommy’s death (before this resurrection happened) especially from Ranboo and him talking to Sam. But Puffy, Jack, Quackity, etc as well. Maybe someone from discord could compile some? But they get really emotional.
It’s not that tommy is a good guys it’s more his mind was all over the place and he would be stuck in the prison until Sam would check on Dream and find tommy also because of the explosions the prison is on lockdown
I recommend watching the recent tales of the smp episode called "haunted mansion". It takes place not too far into the future and it features ghost schlatt. (You might have to watch the vod for the good portion of the whole episode)
Time passes different in the afterlife, Tommy was canonically in afterlife for a month and then some. Wilbur confirmed hes been in the afterlife for 9 years
Hypothesis: what if this was actually Tommy trying to get Dream to revive Wilbur? Tommy's character isn't necessarily smart enough to come up with this, but maybe in the afterlife, Wilbur and Tommy came up with a plan on how to make Dream revive Wilbur.

What I'm trying to say is that,with the Dream Smp, the acting is so good that it makes you feel actual sadness or pure joy.Thats why I can't help but love the characters and the people acting them.The true emotion it makes you feel is incredible. When it comes to the side characters, main, or sort of in between, I can't help but love them because of the emotion they bring with them.

But In exile arc i legit was mentally out of it. Honestly it feels weird. Tommy has to put more emotion into his voice and stuff. While dream just sometimes sounds like he's not acting/ not even trying when it comes to his lines. Like.. Thats not insulting him. Its genuinely horrifying because the thing about a minecraft roleplay the less it feels like the creators are acting when they are the more horrifying it is. Because you know there is a REAL reality outside of it unlike a movie. So Dream acting like Dream to me and getting a response out of me freaks me out. I watch one of dreams normal videos and i can see the difference and feel fine and safe. But sometimes dream shows/says certain things or actions and i click back to the roleplay. To be fair i probably shouldnt be watching this considering it mentally f'd me up before thanks to my past experiences with these themes but ehhhh.
You just don't understand what's canon death and what's not. When a simple visitor enters the Dream's cell and everything is alright, he can kill Dream as much as he want. Here, Tommy is stuck with Dream. Do you feel the difference? Not ALL deaths in the Dream SMP are canon.

I also really recommend that you watch ranboo and tubbo's reactions to tommy's death !! tubbo built a small monument to him in snowchester and ranboo confronted sam about what happened- and I'd say what happened with ranboo was pretty important to his character

I have a suggestion for something to react to! It isn't Minecraft-related or even Dream SMP adjacent, but there's another "roleplaying to tell a story through video games" series I'd love to see you react to. Have you seen Half-Life VR But The AI Is Self-Aware? It's a series with four acts, each divided into a couple of 20-30 minute parts; it was originally streamed live over twitch during June-July 2020, and then Wayne, the director and our Gordon Freeman within the series itself, posted official edits of the streams that condense them and add color-coded subtitles and custom music. You don't have to know anything about Half-Life to enjoy the series, though having some knowledge makes some jokes way funnier and gives a little more context. Basically, it started off as a guy pretending he was gonna stream Half-Life in VR normally, but then making some comment about "advanced AI" being added to the game; what was really going on was that his friends Holly, Scorpy, GIR, and Baaulp were in the game, tucked around pretending to be NPCs. They improvised through the intro of the game, and wound up writing an entire new story with new characters from that point, and it's both very, very funny and oddly heartwarming at points. I'd DEFINITELY suggest you check it out, along with other content by the group, who go by the Radio TV Solutions crew (wayneradiotv being the founder!)

Tommy wouldn’t be stuck in prison for murder, because murder is legal on the Dream SMP. The only rules were “no stealing” and “no greafing” set up by Dream at the start of the SMP. (Separate countries like L’Manberg had their own laws). Murder is only forbidden on the Holy Land.
No, it’s forbidden in the prison because of the books Tommy signed. One of them says if the prisoner dies while the visitor (Tommy) is in prison then the visitor must take their place IN the prison.
One thing I've seen is that you've completely missed out the entire Project:DreamCatcher Arc. It's the main thing that happened during the gap between the final disc war and this. *Spoilers* Here's a quick recap After the Doomday War, Nihachu returns to the remains of L'Manberg which everyone had left apart from Jack Manifold. They argue because Jack fought for L'Manberg and she betrayed it by burning down the tree. However, Niki convinces him to let her speak and Jack decides that Niki was right due to reasons I wont go into. A few days later, Tubbo asks Jack to move into Snowchester with him, but Jack refuses the deal until he finds out that Tommy has a base there. He moves in and tells Niki about it. Later, Jack discovers that Snowchester is a cover for a Nuclear Testing Operation called 'Project:DreamCatcher'. Tubbo appoints Jack as the head of the operation and only Jack can activate the nukes. Jack tells Niki about it, and the two decide to lead Tommy to the nuke base so he will 'accidentally' be blown up on the testing day. A few other things happen, but the day of the testing comes around. Nihachu meets Tommy at the hotel and Jack has paid off Sam Nook to ask Tommy for wood that can only be found at the Nuke site. The two head there, but Tommy is bored and wanders off. Despite Jack trying to halt the launch, Niki and Tommy arrive too late to it and discover a ginormous crater. Niki is horrified that they were two late, and Jack gets very angry at her but the two decide to try and kill him again but later.
Those sounds were elder guardians. That sound going off was the elder guardian giving them mining fatigue (if you look at where the effects are, mining fatigue was applied to Tommy). I'm pretty sure the elder guardians were placed around the prison cell to make sure Dream doesn't try to mine his way out.
i would say the fanfare of his death was definitely there, just in other streams. tubbo built a grave during one of his. jack manifold went around the server telling everyone the news (honestly some of the BEST roleplay in my opinion), the eggpire had a whole stream dedicated to it. captain puffy had a LOT of character development in her streams. ranboo too(man ranboos was heart breaking LOL)!! a LOT went down during the time we believed he was dead but a lot of it was just not centered around tommy, but how everyone felt about him. i’d definitely recommend checking some of it out, even if it’s off stream as some of their reactions to his death will be rather important moving forward:D
Death isn’t really torcher, it’s just for Tommy it’s really triggering. Because he didn’t want to die, he didn’t expect to die, he had a hard time accepting it. He died in the least comfortable situation he could have. And even worse, he was stuck there with Schlatt, who he obviously has a really bad experience with. And WILBUR, which is just awful, because they were basically brothers, and Tommy visibly has been avoiding his turn to madness and his death for a long time. And the way Wilbur talked to him. It seems like he lost his last bits of empathy, how Tommy was panicking over the things Wilbur said to him. And “I’m glad that you’re dead. We were awful” was just what we saw. God knows what else he was saying. And how traumatic that was thing was, is largely effected by the fact that Tommy was the one going through it.
Jack Manifold's recently did a stream where he talked about his story and his character fully and it'd be very helpful in helping understand Jack's character who is coming quite major recently in the plot :D
Heyo! So yesterday Jack Manifold went live to explain his entire character history and arc. The way that he reincarnated was a little different. I don't think that Dream acknowledges it as canon? But either way-- it's a long story, but he literally reincarnated out of pure spite. PURE SPITE AND WILL. That was bringing back in a totally different sense. noone is off the server, it just was a story break, and snowchester was build, nikki build her new house, ranboo, phil and techno build there houses and the syndicates meeting place. There was not much to do for long time members, some of them even where on sometimes for fun. Foolish on the other hand found his love for survival minecraft and joined the dream smp and build a bunch of awesome builds! He had interactions w/ almost all the other streamers on his way and he is super fun! Nothing wrong at all. Like the 2 weeks after war turned into a month! Nothing serious!
i definitely wouldnt say dreams had more visitors than tommy, a lot of people did say they wanted to visit him but most of them didnt actually happen, or at least they havent up to this point. and i definitely wouldnt say people have been tripping over their feet to visit him lol
To be honest, I always imagined that Dream is canonically a very good fighter and Tommy wouldn't be able to kill him in hand to hand anyways. Which makes it even worse!

so basically if you don't get it: time works differently in the void. 1 day = 1 month. wilbur has been dead (canonically) for approximately 118 days. that means he's spent approximately *9 whole years* in the afterlife. it's not even that wilbur became a worse person post mortem- he literally has been removed from humanity for 9 years. he wouldn't remember how to live. the emotions that come from being mortal- empathy, compassion, love, etc. have completely fallen out of use at this point. ESPECIALLY when the only other people in the void are jschlatt and mexican dream. if wilbur comes back he won't be a human being anymore. something to the left of a person and just a bit below monsterous. there's NO WAY that when he comes back he's going to be ok with it (he said that himself) but also he's no longer human enough to be able to care much about how he hurts others. what can they do? kill him?? that's already what he wants. he never wanted to come back anyways. and when wilbur is unhappy? well, let's just say that past canon indicates a lot of people getting hurt.
I’m quite interested in what skin Wilbur will be in because it will be a version of his anarchist skin because I imagine that his body will be the same and think of the animatics of Wilbur coming back to life
I believe the sensory overload theory, but. Even before he died Tommy seemed unable to recognize those sounds. Also, you misunderstood the math on Wilbur's death. Canonically it's been about three months; in Void Time it feels like 9 years to him.

I just calculated it Wilbur while in the afterlife has been dead for 216 years and at most 225 years, meaning he experienced 2.7 to 2.8 life times to live that long doing absolutely nothing in world where there is nothing has to be torture here is the math he has been dead canonically for 9 years, so 9*365=3285 two days here is 1 month and 18 to 20 days, so about 48 to 50 days divide by 2 you get 24 to 25 days per one real day so 3285*24 or 25 you 78,840 to 82,125 days divide by 365 you get 216 to 225 man if wait what do i mean by "if" he's definetly coming back so i should say when Wilbur comes back he is going to be cold and twisted if a month and a half almost broke Tommy well Wilbur is going to be messed up especially with how he was before he died

16:30 - you have to remember that tommy and wilbur’s relationship before wilbur died wasn’t the best. wilbur consistently manipulated tommy before his death, and when they suggested to tommy that they revive wilbur a couple months back, tommy wasn’t actually supportive of the idea. wilbur and dream’s characters are both extremely similar in terms of how they treat other people (specifically tommy).
18:04 - i actually subscribe to the theory that dream is possessed/influenced to some extent by a dreamon. i also think a dreamon is possibly what’s in the egg, but i could be incredibly wrong on both accounts lmao.
19:02 - also, i was watching foolish’s stream after tommy’s stream where he was trapped inside the prison due to the tnt explosion, and foolish had tnt in a chest. he obviously dismissed it with chat, laughing through it, but it is sus of him lmao.
34:11 - i mean, i always took the revival book to be a literal thing (dream actually said on stream ages ago that the reason he switched to schlatt’s side during the war was because schlatt offered him the book, so i never doubted that it was actually real).
39:38 - sam apparently shouted at dream whilst dream was laughing over tommy’s body. sam was also in vc on tubbo’s stream after tommy died, sounding really shaken by what had happened.
40:13 - i think sam took it as a security risk to remove the body - why would he retrieve the body if he wouldn’t even let alive tommy out? also, dream is fed by an automatic potato farm. and, to my understanding, the netherite blocks go up when the surrounding lava drains out, not when there’s a visitor. when dream is just in there on his own, the netherite blocks would still be down.
51:05 - the only main things i think you have left are the ‘tales from the smp’ episodes, perhaps a few of the prison visits (e.g. sapnap - there’s a bit at the end of his visit that’s very important to ranboo lore) and some techno lore (like his “the egg” stream, and the one from today also).
I mean, Dream *IS* the only person who is known for sure to have been possessed by a Dreamon.
Ponk did briefly start flying and claimed to have sold his soul to one, but this has seemingly been dropped.
The thing with Jack manifold is that when he died he chose to come back and said screw it I have all my lives back, with Tommy dream revived him and basically dragged him back out of the afterlife.

Dream's manipulation works so well on people like Tommy, Ranboo, Tubbo, & Wilbur because he knows how to grab onto the paranoid, intrusive, and terrifying "what if" worst-case scenarios and make them seem like an obvious fact. @@YoBGS Yeeepppp, Dream as an actor just *excels* at playing the maniacal villain, which can be really difficult for some folks! I will never stop giving him the biggest props for improving as an actor since the beginning of the roleplay!
I think you're overestimating the amount of times people visited Dream. The only one who came to see him more than once was Ranboo, who wasn't even aware of his visits until he had literal nightmares about it. Not to mention, Sam has canonically revoked Dream's visitor privileges as punishment for killing Tommy. Between that and the automatic feeding system, he wouldn't actually need to check on Dream directly for quite a while, unless he received another alarm. Theoretically, Tommy could break a block in order to alert Sam, but due to the mining fatigue and lack of tools it would take him literal, real-world DAYS of non-stop mining. Canonically, he's not in a state of mind to be able to handle that.
At the same time, he is being severely affected by his trauma here in assuming that Sam would hold his warden responsibilities above Tommy's well-being, with good reason - he's already done so once by leaving him in the cell in the first place. At this point, basically every mentor or family figure Tommy has had on the SMP has chosen something else over Tommy. Wilbur did it with his "unfinished symphony," Tubbo did it with L'Manberg, Techno with his drive for vengeance, and Phil with his loyalty to Techno. For him, it's completely logical to assume that Sam would do the same.
And he still hasn't even found out about Nicki and Jack's intent to murder him. Poor kid.

There's this theory going around that Tommy and Wilbur planned in the like two months (death time) that Tommy was gone on how to deal with Dream and get Wilbur revived. This is because, whilst Wilbur was a bit unnerving near the end, what we heard and what Tommy describes of death are so very different.
Edit: Also about Tommy not beating up Dream. Imagine you're beaten to death by your abuser, then are revived and asked how literal death felt. Canonically Tommy is indeed a child and is so brutally traumatised that I doubt he would dare try and kill Dream
You tell Tommy not to tell Dream, however Dream was the only one to talk to, and if he didn’t talk to someone, it would’ve drove him crazy.
Dream plays such a convincing irredeemable evil character. The added aspect of him not streaming it makes his motives even more mysterious. I'm intrigued to see where it goes next. What I'm trying to say is that,with the Dream Smp, the acting is so good that it makes you feel actual sadness or pure joy.Thats why I can't help but love the characters and the people acting them.The true emotion it makes you feel is incredible. When it comes to the side characters, main, or sort of in between, I can't help but love them because of the emotion they bring with them.

Honestly it feels weird. Tommy has to put more emotion into his voice and stuff. While dream just sometimes sounds like he's not acting/ not even trying when it comes to his lines. Like.. Thats not insulting him. Its genuinely horrifying because the thing about a minecraft roleplay the less it feels like the creators are acting when they are the more horrifying it is. Because you know there is a REAL reality outside of it unlike a movie. So Dream acting like Dream to me and getting a response out of me freaks me out. I watch one of dreams normal videos and i can see the difference and feel fine and safe. But sometimes dream shows/says certain things or actions and i click back to the roleplay.
To be fair i probably shouldnt be watching this considering it mentally f'd me up before thanks to my past experiences with these themes but ehhhh.

You just don't understand what's canon death and what's not. When a simple visitor enters the Dream's cell and everything is alright, he can kill Dream as much as he want. Here, Tommy is stuck with Dream. Do you feel the difference? Not ALL deaths in the Dream SMP are canon.

I have a suggestion for something to react to! It isn't Minecraft-related or even Dream SMP adjacent, but there's another "roleplaying to tell a story through video games" series I'd love to see you react to. Have you seen Half-Life VR But The AI Is Self-Aware? It's a series with four acts, each divided into a couple of 20-30 minute parts; it was originally streamed live over twitch during June-July 2020, and then Wayne, the director and our Gordon Freeman within the series itself, posted official edits of the streams that condense them and add color-coded subtitles and custom music. You don't have to know anything about Half-Life to enjoy the series, though having some knowledge makes some jokes way funnier and gives a little more context. Basically, it started off as a guy pretending he was gonna stream Half-Life in VR normally, but then making some comment about "advanced AI" being added to the game; what was really going on was that his friends Holly, Scorpy, GIR, and Baaulp were in the game, tucked around pretending to be NPCs. They improvised through the intro of the game, and wound up writing an entire new story with new characters from that point, and it's both very, very funny and oddly heartwarming at points. I'd DEFINITELY suggest you check it out, along with other content by the group, who go by the Radio TV Solutions crew (wayneradiotv being the founder!)

Tommy wouldn’t be stuck in prison for murder, because murder is legal on the Dream SMP. The only rules were “no stealing” and “no greafing” set up by Dream at the start of the SMP. (Separate countries like L’Manberg had their own laws). Murder is only forbidden on the Holy Land.
No, it’s forbidden in the prison because of the books Tommy signed. One of them says if the prisoner dies while the visitor (Tommy) is in prison then the visitor must take their place IN the prison.

One thing I've seen is that you've completely missed out the entire Project:DreamCatcher Arc. It's the main thing that happened during the gap between the final disc war and this.
*Spoilers*
Here's a quick recap
After the Doomday War, Nihachu returns to the remains of L'Manberg which everyone had left apart from Jack Manifold. They argue because Jack fought for L'Manberg and she betrayed it by burning down the tree. However, Niki convinces him to let her speak and Jack decides that Niki was right due to reasons I wont go into.
A few days later, Tubbo asks Jack to move into Snowchester with him, but Jack refuses the deal until he finds out that Tommy has a base there. He moves in and tells Niki about it.
Later, Jack discovers that Snowchester is a cover for a Nuclear Testing Operation called 'Project:DreamCatcher'. Tubbo appoints Jack as the head of the operation and only Jack can activate the nukes. Jack tells Niki about it, and the two decide to lead Tommy to the nuke base so he will 'accidentally' be blown up on the testing day.
A few other things happen, but the day of the testing comes around.
Nihachu meets Tommy at the hotel and Jack has paid off Sam Nook to ask Tommy for wood that can only be found at the Nuke site. The two head there, but Tommy is bored and wanders off. Despite Jack trying to halt the launch, Niki and Tommy arrive too late to it and discover a ginormous crater.
Niki is horrified that they were two late, and Jack gets very angry at her but the two decide to try and kill him again but later.

Those sounds were elder guardians. That sound going off was the elder guardian giving them mining fatigue (if you look at where the effects are, mining fatigue was applied to Tommy). I'm pretty sure the elder guardians were placed around the prison cell to make sure Dream doesn't try to mine his way out.
I like how you, not only reacts, but share to us the psychological impact of the lore.
i would say the fanfare of his death was definitely there, just in other streams. tubbo built a grave during one of his. jack manifold went around the server telling everyone the news (honestly some of the BEST roleplay in my opinion), the eggpire had a whole stream dedicated to it. captain puffy had a LOT of character development in her streams. ranboo too(man ranboos was heart breaking LOL)!! a LOT went down during the time we believed he was dead but a lot of it was just not centered around tommy, but how everyone felt about him. i’d definitely recommend checking some of it out, even if it’s off stream as some of their reactions to his death will be rather important moving forward:D

Death isn’t really torcher, it’s just for Tommy it’s really triggering. Because he didn’t want to die, he didn’t expect to die, he had a hard time accepting it. He died in the least comfortable situation he could have. And even worse, he was stuck there with Schlatt, who he obviously has a really bad experience with. And WILBUR, which is just awful, because they were basically brothers, and Tommy visibly has been avoiding his turn to madness and his death for a long time. And the way Wilbur talked to him. It seems like he lost his last bits of empathy, how Tommy was panicking over the things Wilbur said to him. And “I’m glad that you’re dead. We were awful” was just what we saw. God knows what else he was saying.
And how traumatic that was thing was, is largely effected by the fact that Tommy was the one going through it.
Jack Manifold's recently did a stream where he talked about his story and his character fully and it'd be very helpful in helping understand Jack's character who is coming quite major recently in the plot :D
Heyo! So yesterday Jack Manifold went live to explain his entire character history and arc. The way that he reincarnated was a little different. I don't think that Dream acknowledges it as canon? But either way-- it's a long story, but he literally reincarnated out of pure spite. PURE SPITE AND WILL. That was bringing back in a totally different sense.

noone is off the server, it just was a story break, and snowchester was build, nikki build her new house, ranboo, phil and techno build there houses and the syndicates meeting place. There was not much to do for long time members, some of them even where on sometimes for fun. Foolish on the other hand found his love for survival minecraft and joined the dream smp and build a bunch of awesome builds! He had interactions w/ almost all the other streamers on his way and he is super fun! Nothing wrong at all. Like the 2 weeks after war turned into a month! Nothing serious!
i definitely wouldnt say dreams had more visitors than tommy, a lot of people did say they wanted to visit him but most of them didnt actually happen, or at least they havent up to this point. and i definitely wouldnt say people have been tripping over their feet to visit him lol

time works differently in the void. 1 day = 1 month. wilbur has been dead (canonically) for approximately 118 days. that means he's spent approximately *9 whole years* in the afterlife. it's not even that wilbur became a worse person post mortem- he literally has been removed from humanity for 9 years. he wouldn't remember how to live. the emotions that come from being mortal- empathy, compassion, love, etc. have completely fallen out of use at this point. ESPECIALLY when the only other people in the void are jschlatt and mexican dream. if wilbur comes back he won't be a human being anymore. something to the left of a person and just a bit below monsterous. there's NO WAY that when he comes back he's going to be ok with it (he said that himself) but also he's no longer human enough to be able to care much about how he hurts others. what can they do? kill him?? that's already what he wants. he never wanted to come back anyways. and when wilbur is unhappy? well, let's just say that past canon indicates a lot of people getting hurt.
I’m quite interested in what skin Wilbur will be in because it will be a version of his anarchist skin because I imagine that his body will be the same and think of the animatics of Wilbur coming back to life

I just calculated it Wilbur while in the afterlife has been dead for 216 years and at most 225 years, meaning he experienced 2.7 to 2.8 life times to live that long doing absolutely nothing in world where there is nothing has to be torture here is the math he has been dead canonically for 9 years, so 9*365=3285 two days here is 1 month and 18 to 20 days, so about 48 to 50 days divide by 2 you get 24 to 25 days per one real day so 3285*24 or 25 you 78,840 to 82,125 days divide by 365 you get 216 to 225 man if wait what do i mean by "if" he's definetly coming back so i should say when Wilbur comes back he is going to be cold and twisted if a month and a half almost broke Tommy well Wilbur is going to be messed up especially with how he was before he died
