    Get barnwood. It will help for the realism you want use rose oil compound on the wood instead of lacquer or acrylic those will make it give off a huge glow. But truly helpful. Thank you!

      Square Eye Photography what dimensions did you use?

    • @squareeyephoto
      @squareeyephoto 5 років тому +1

      @@Fawnyn I make them all about six feet wide and five feet deep..so I use the ten foot long boards and have them cut in half and then get enough boards to make six feet if width. Five foot is just shy of what I need for regular use ..I think six feet is just right.

    • @squareeyephoto
      @squareeyephoto 5 років тому +1

      And Julia I commented on the wrong video actually I was supposed to comment on the one where she literally used wood and not the planks the planks are pretty much worthless because they do glare quite a bit so make it with actual wood and use a stain that is non-glare so as Matte as possible and it looks so gorgeous you're going to love it

    Hi Fenna. I am really glad I stubbled on your videos. I am in the processes of making a wooden backdrop like yours. Gluing the two end pieces to the back is a good idea! I also loved the wooden prop your boy was sitting in. Could you do a video on where you got some of your wooden bowls and baskets??

    Hi Fenna, I am so glad to have found your videos! I am trying my hand at photography and I would love for you to do a video on what defines a good quality backdrop.. also, how do you get your backdrops to look like there is the separation between the floor panels and the backdrop (like the crown moulding piece). Also.. in one video you have a white chair with brown legs, where did you get that? Thanks so much!
