    Did you increase your range using any of the drills?

    Makes a lot of sense. Most people mistakenly think that the muscles actually get longer.

      Yup, it's all the nervous system. Pesky thing :-)

    Thanks. I’ll give this a try. I’m suffering from tight hamstrings from cycling.

    Great 👍 I basically touched my toes, that’s a first for me! Amazing thanks! Io

      Great to hear! It tells you that your body would benefit from training that system a lot. So if you haven’t got the free program, i would grab that.

      I need my chunky calves to function as well as Djokovic or Fed's skinny calves 🤣

    2/5/24. Just saw this. Is it ok to hold onto something for balance at first. I am 66 still playing tennis and now pickleball. Very tight hips hams dead glutes.

      Yes, it's ok to hold on for balance.

    What do you recommend for increasing the flexibility of lifting the leg to the side or doing a wide shuffle?

    • @TennisHacker
      @TennisHacker  2 роки тому +1

      Vey similar, strengthen the inner adductors and abductors (or in engligh - the inner thights and glutes) at their end ranges.

    Ok, but isn’t the range increasing because of the repetition of the stretches? Let’s say we do this exercise without the eye test. It seems like I would still obtain more motion because of the reps.

    • @TennisHacker
      @TennisHacker  2 роки тому +1

      No, a lot of people will be tighter after the eye drill because their system was threatened by it. If improvements were just because of repeated reps, that couldn’t happen.
      But if you warm the stretch up first, then test you’ll get fairer results

    I find my calf’s glutes and hip flexors give me issues…

      Do you do much prehab or off court work?

  • @richardkrauss3582
    @richardkrauss3582 2 роки тому +1

    no change

    • @TennisHacker
      @TennisHacker  2 роки тому

      In the way it felt or the range? If there was no change in the distance, I would test again but do more reps.
