Thanks for this - that confrontation was a nightmare I hope I never have to deal with - you stood your ground without the fisticuffs that might have gone along with it. This just proves that you cant plan for crazy when you go out to do honest work when you're flying to do a job. If I wanted to get into real estate where I live on Long Island I'd probably invest in a hardhat and a yellow vest just to keep crazies away. I've had a lot of encounters with folks while flying and I always do my best to be respectful and preempt a situation with a friendly convo about what I'm doing - What you had to deal with was just nuts.

if you are looking for a quiet drone that wont bring attention, i recomend using the master airscrew props on it. i have the ones for the mini 3 pro and they work great. drone is really quiet as well and wont notice it in the air if its maybe past 40 feet up in the air...

We need a mini 4 pro and air 3 comparison and which one you would choose
Would you recommend the mini as an overall drone for clients? Not just for social media content? I have an original Mavic Air, rarely use it, but would like to promote aerial more and upgrade my drone a little. Since I don’t do much aerial at the moment, investing in something like a Mavic pro 3 would be tough on my funds.
Also would definitely love to see the editing workflow for Final Cut Pro! Your speed ramps are buttery!

Thanks for this, it's the debate I am having right now between the Air 3 & the Mini 4 Pro in opening a drone business to do real estate. You boiled it down succinctly which I like.
That confrontation, just whoa. Sadly you're not the only person I've heard from having similar events while shooting real estate. I shared some videos taken around town and someone threatened me if I ever flew over her house, I polite asked where do you live so I can avoid flying over your house, she lost it and told me I shouldn't be flying over ANY private property and that there's lots of public parks an land I can fly over. Thankfully that was just online... the town has used my photos for their website, calendars, etc and most people enjoy seeing things from the air but there's always that guy like the one in your video. Thanks for sharing.

Mini 3 Pro is my choice over my Phantom 4 Pro because I've had similar situations with people getting in my face. I had one wild situation where I was taking Aerial Photos of a Biker Bar that was going on the Market; 3 Leather Clad Bikers circled up on me telling me I couldn't take pictures. Luckily, I was able to get my Realtor on the phone who had the Owner come out and vouch for me. Some become hot headed and territorial when they see a Drone, so I'm all for getting the Pro features in a quieter package. Cheers!

I seem nice, but I played 9 years of football as a defensive end. My fuse gets as hot as yours. Yes, the Mini 4 helps a lot. Sorry you have to go through this doing your job. I had a really bad confrontation one time. It was horrible. I lost my cool wich is extremely rare, and chased a girl and her boyfriend. They jumped the fence and ran from me.

You said you charged $265 per reel, how you manage with the gas expenses?
Because I’m doing other services my average ticket price is about $650 per listing. 5-6 listings a day all in the same area. If you can’t manage off that you need to find other work
Yes that will be ideal 5-6 listing, but let’s say u are starting again and u don’t have the networking to give you all those listing a day.

But for some reason 🤔 every red neck thinks that the ONLY purpose of drones is making commercial/movies and peeking in windows! I've talked to a couple of these people and once I calm them down and get to the issue. They have filmed a shady ass drone video or have seen a video like that, so that's why they think that!
