Loved this, glad you got to experience Kennywood. I live about a half hour from there, many fond memories from here as a kid. Thanks for posting, have a great evening 👍🏼😎🇺🇸
Micah I wonder if that Musik Express ride is the same one that used to be at Miracle Strip in Panama City Beach? It looks exactly like it. I just wonder if Kennywood bought it when Miracle Strip closed down back in the early 2000s. I rode the one at Miracle Strip many, many times.
In addition to the movie Adventureland a production company wanted to film the flick Rollercoaster there but Kennywood declined. The movie centered on a man boobytrapping coasters to crash. The park did not want that image associated with them.
@@worldofmicah Glad you finally made it! It's my home park. I was documenting them painting the new mural for my channel and they put me in the mural!! Did you get on the Thunderbolt (wooden coaster) or Exterminator (Indoor Coaster)?
Not trying to stir the pot, them putting that they are the "premier" PA park doesn't make it true. Could they be the premier park in the immediate Pittsburgh area? Sure. Erie has Waldameer. Hershey has hersheypark. There is also Knoebels which ranks high especially since it's free parking and admission. There is Dutch Wonderland for kids. And a number of other PA parks
Neat.... I have never been to that park, but I have heard of it before from another UA-cam channel.... that park has a very interesting history.... ( ua-cam.com/video/KK3Yr80lPOYs/v-deo.htmli=859bPC_wB-tpRKL2 l)..... the old mill ride was once rethemed to a Garfield ride.... don't think it lasted long..... the other rides you went on looked great.... that walk through attraction looked awesome...... my son would like the train ride.... he likes Thomas.... thanks for sharing....take care..... have a great day....thanks.....👍👍👍👍👍
I’m glad you went to Kennywood. I hope you see why Jacob the Carpetbagger loves that place
Thanks for stopping by, as my home park it’s always great seeing people not from Pittsburgh seeing how special this place is!
as a fellow Pittsburgher, i agree.
Great video! Love Kennywood. The Kangaroo is the last remaining one of that ride in the world.
So cool to see my home town on UA-cam. We go there every summer, fall and winter You need to come back for Halloween 👻🎃

I used to go there when I was a kid and my father worked there when he was a kid and ran the Jack Rabbit Rollercoaster. Thanks for visiting Kennywood!

Knoebels is bigger and better and way cheaper !!

This Musik Express was installed in the 80s
On Ghostwood Estate, did that skeleton jump out of a cake? *SEXAY!*

so, you think kennywood > hersheypark?!
When did I say that? I’ve never been to Hershey park
@@worldofmicah i'm confused by the title, then.
STOP comparing Kennywood with large theme parks ! Not the same sizewise, smaller, but just as expensive !!
You... didn't ride the thunderbolt?...
Yes I rode it
You saved our park from extinction!
I love Kennywood
Sorry bro . Hersheypark is Pennsylvanias Premier Amusement Park
Might wanna tell Kennywood. It’s on their site.

waldameer
KNOEBELS is largest and finest traditional amusement park in the state, hands down and is the least expensive !!

I see they ruined the Turtle ride by SLOWING IT DOWN like they did the Auto Race !! PATHETIC !!
