Good video, such a good option for murph and body weight workouts. So much cheaper than 511
The steel ar-500 plate is heavy. Put that in and you'll get a workout as well level III protection

I am NOT a fitness nut and I am very over weight. But I bought this PC in black and weighted it down with 6mm thick steel-based armour (Chinese) that is similar to AR500 Rated at NIJ IV and has padding on both sides. 3.7KG each. So I have pretty much an 8KG weight vest that I use for walking, knowing that if some catastrophic thing happened I could use it for what the original created intent of the component parts are for. Then I am buying 2mm thick steel to cut, file, gorilla tape the edges and use that to add just a bit more weight and it could I suppose act as a trauma plate if it came down to getting fired at.
I got one yesterday. Added some load to my power workouts.
Been looking for a minimalist carrier for summer. This might be it...

Tactical scorpion makes quality nij certified lighter than ar500 steel plates that stop up to 6 shots of 7.62x51 NATO I have the rothco lwpc plate carrier for my tactical load out for prepping, and shtf and defense wise If you shoot AKs I highly suggest with the rothco lwpc or crye jpc which is same as the rothco model just price difference, tie the mag pouches that come built into the plate carrier tight using the bundgy set up and buy a set of hsgi taco, or gcode scorpions, or Haley strategic mag pouches with mp2, or buy mp2 to insert in the built in mag pouch
Stumbled across your channel today. My Rogue fitness plate carrier came in (black colored version of yours) and I love it. The only thing is the straps do hang out in the front which is a bit annoying but that's about it.
I am about to order one but in the description it says : The Condor Sentry Plate Carrier is not designed to be used with the laser-cut Rogue Weight Vest Plates and the use of these plates voids the Condor warranty. Is it working out ok for you

Isn't the vest only a pound and a half? So technically even with the plates it's not an even 20lbs. According to the rep I spoke with at Rogue fitness.

Angel Meija The item is a plate carrier. The purpose of a plate carrier is intended to do what the name implies: hold plates. The Sentry can either sport _ballistic_ plates or _athletic_ plates designed to simulate weight. The Sentry itself is not bullet proof. Hope that clears things up.
Recommendations for how much weight is fitting for fitness and maybe 5km walks..?

How many plates can you fit in it per side? Or is it only one side?

You might be able to fit 2 if they are THIN.. It can take about 1.25 inches thickness total. I have an 18mm thick plate on either side and I am able to easily slot in a 2mm thick piece of steel on top (close to the body) without issue. I could probably go thicker than 2mm but I would not be able to bash a curve into it if it were any thicker.
can you place 2 plates in the front two plates in the back to add more weight?
On the rogue website it says you can have up to 4 plates per side.

How is the vest for running, long durations, have you experienced or does it bunch, bounce, rub etc?
Michael Carl in my experience for running it’s fine but just has a little up down bob to it unless you make it really really tight. But eventually the bobbing doesn’t affect you and you get used to it
you should go with soft armor unless you expect to be hit with rifle rounds... just sayin

Orlando Cardenas I use to have a 20lb golds gymn vest . I ran with it all the time it worked beautifully for me
