@viktortsoi2 It is just the luck of the draw old chap -a form of natural selection. One of the reasons the great guitarists are great is because they have all the numerous essential attributes which will include fingers to die for. For the remainder global greatness may be out of reach but it doesn't mean anyone lacking ideal fingers can't be an excellent musician. Far better to have overly fat long fingers than thin short ones by the way. Shortness is the real limiter as it reduces reach.

This is a common misnomer. Hands really have nothing to do with it, look at Shawn Lane, possibly the most talented guitarist to have ever lived and the guy had smaller than average hands. Then there's guys like Andres Segovia and Johnny Hiland to name just a few. Finally, check out some of the insanely talented female guitarists on YT with tiny hands such as Mel:

You'll have about as much trouble as yngwie has these days... but seriously, just practice your ass off and you'll be able to play just as fast, hell if you put enough time and effort into it you could even play better.

the rest of the band should adopt buckets. his leads are all rural, heard-it-before, diatonic, stepwise child's play. Sure he's great at pulling off those runs (and really fast ) but who isn't these days? Nothing new under the sun, 'cept a bucket.
