‘Like Lovers Do’ is the second track taken from The Bony King of Nowhere’s forthcoming studio album 'Silent Days', which will be released via Unday Records on September 21.

The album’s aptly chosen title ‘Silent Days’ refers to the silence that was preceding Vanparys’ broken marriage, an event that casts a dark shadow over the entire new record.
‘Like Lovers Do’ is far from quiet though. The dramatic tone in the first part of the song might reminds you of Springsteen’s ‘The River’, but Vanparys drags the unsuspecting listener into a dark, up tempo and claustrophobic coda. The Bony King of Nowhere displays his ‘other side’ and tells a bitter tale of anger, resentment and despair. His upfront tone of voice and the lack of metaphors lend this song and the entire record a rare sense of sincerity and urgency.
