I would 100% love to tell you how to improve on your game it’s honestly just a bunch of people who drive to the baseline and dunk a lot of the time and as you are aware a ton of off ball but if you go to defensive sets you can change your defense so the defenders don’t get wide open shots after they drag in their defenders I hope this helps have a good day mmg

The way Papa feels about people playing off-ball defense is how I feel watching him drive into the paint on multiple defenders every play and then being upset that the game didn't let him make the shot. For the love of God just shoot a damn mid range look I am begging you Matt, you have it in you.

Matt something you got to do to get easy 3s is when you call for pick and roll, hit the right bumper to make it pick and pop. Gets wide open 3s and works vs a lot of off ballers if you need 3s

next season with wheel of 2k, for the challenge wheel, you should have the challenges ranked on how difficult they are (easy, medium, hard), and depending on how different the challenge is you completed, you should get more packs (easy=1 pack, medium=2 packs, hard=3 packs)

Meags if you wanna counter off ball. Call the screen from the guy he’s off balling on and then hold Y or triangle to make the screener cut once he comes up for the screen and then just pass it’s open everytime.

the day papa shoots a wide open jumper off the screen/dribble, he may be unstoppable
When people are off balling, send the person there covering on a back cut and it’s an easy bucket every time. Then the next time they’ll be scared to off ball or they’ll sit closer to the rim when off balling. That will open up a shot for the person they were covering.

Here’s a tip against off ballers: pick and fade, when you set a screen hit the right bumper and the person setting a screen with fade and you’ll have a wide open three

Matt, when you go up for contested layups, the meter will continually change through the animation based on defensive coverage. So with that being said, almost all of these cards have hall of fame or at least gold Acrobat badge so when you're driving for a contested layup and you go up with it, try and fill the meter up as close as you can to the top (or green) and then start spamming X (shot button), or you can wiggle the right thumbstick around and 7-8/10 the layup will go in, especially on and 1 attempts.
Try it next time you play, trust me.
Also if you want to see how to utilize players specific animations whether it be with shooting, with stepbacks, etc... Look up a youtuber named Kevin Cruz and watch a video or two, they're only like 5 minutes long and he goes into great detail while providing the information in simple terms of how to use each intricate new mechanic within the game. Even though they basically make the same game every year, they add these annoying new little mechanics that you would never even think about that change the gameplay entirely.

Run some pick and pop vs pick and roll vs whoever they’re offballing with, so many easy threes makes them quit really quick. Send a back door cut every now and then too at their used to keep them honest
