NASCAR Forgotten Saves #1

- Over time while watching old races I kept track of any notable saves that took place that I hadn't seen in any other major "NASCAR Saves" videos previously.
I might make follow up videos to this, it just depends on how many old races I watch.
What an incredible video. I've been a NASCAR fan since I was a child in the early nineties and I hadn't seen any of these in other compilations. Great work.
Thanks to you, now these "forgotten" nascar saves will never be forgotten, again!
Johnson with the 92 ☠
The Jimmie Johnson one from Charlotte, the announcers missed Kyle Busch also have a big moment.
Arguably a bigger one than Jimmie
that Rusty vs Bodine Wilkesboro was just good old fashioned short-track racin! And props to my high school classmate Robert Richardson for making this clip, I remember that save!
Maaan you know if i moved you like that for the win you would come at me all crazy.
Haha.
@@slipstream7324 id be coming at you like a spidermonkey
That was the second best save Jimmie Johnson has ever done at Dover
Awesome video from the tail end of the golden age of Nascar!!
Welcome back to UA-cam!
Jamie McMurray, 2004 Nextel Open
Naaa 2009 Vegas has it beat. UA-cam it!
great video
There's another couple I've never seen put into the compilations that deserve it. Randy Lajoie 2005 Aaron's 312. Went thru the tri oval grass which was wet... Hydroplaned spun didn't hit anything. And Mario gosselin 2009 mountain dew 250. Got turned in the trioval spun a few times didn't hit anything. Both those could've been another big one.
Jimmie Johnson did another one in the 2019 Coke 600. In the race replay it happens at 5:17:10. It doesn’t look too crazy, but I feel like it’s worth mentioning. He was also wearing light gloves.
Anyone know what race that is at 4:47?
1:06 Stewart wrecked Kenseth in front of the field a few laps after this happened, he's the most psychotic driver NASCAR has ever had
