- Part 1 of 2: In this segment, OG Badger addresses his absence from the Heavy Hitters channel. Unfortunately, he relapsed, realizing he couldn't authentically share positivity while under the influence. To maintain honesty with his tribe, he decided to halt channel postings. During this break, Badger faced a distressing incident in his apartment building, where a resident behaved inappropriately toward his former girlfriend. Badger, taking matters into his own hands, confronted the individual, resulting in his arrest on alleged assault charges.
While fighting his case Badger, dissatisfied with his public defender, had to ingeniously dismiss her. Representing himself, he negotiated with the DA, agreeing to serve a year in LA County jail with six years looming over him. Encountering issues in jail, including confrontations with inmates and unsanitary conditions, leading to a serious skin infection called cellulitis, Badger was eventually transferred to USC Medical for treatment. He highlights the drastic changes in the LA County Jail system since his previous incarceration.
Locked away, Badger faced severe financial repercussions, losing his apartment, income, and facing the auction of his stored belongings. Rebuilding his life, he's in need of love and support. Nothing but love and respect for Badger. I too just got out of the county jail here in NY. I’m only 35 and I been doing time since I was 14. EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED, and not for the better. I felt like a fish out of water this last time. I never thought I’d have to go back but here in NY we don’t have the right to self defense so I had to fight my case for a year and half.
I was subbed to badgers channel from the beginning since he did the big herc interview. Badgers a real deal stand up guy. I’m glad he’s back and I’m glad I found this channel.

For some of us relapse is unfortunately part of our recovery. I know the sense of shame and regret that comes with getting clean and getting your life back only to relapse and throw it all away. As long as you're alive and free you can do it again. You have a lot of good folks on here that are in your corner and rooting for you. I hope you can hang in there, stay clean, keep making the next right decision and take back the life you gave away. Thank you for keeping it honest as I know how hard that can be but your friends on here are still with you bro. So, let's go....(as corny as it sounds) one day at a time, little by little it will all be yours again.

He has had to deal with so many trolls even though the love outweighs the hate. The only time we should look down at our fellow man is to try to pull him back up. Badger has always been willing to help anyone he could and people will gladly be willing to help him out.. there's a great documentary coming out by Seth Ferranti about the effects prison has on a person and how the majority of people come out worse than when they went in along with worse than what they were sentenced for.

ive been there man people dont realize when u spend more than a couple weeks nevertheless 6 months like i did i was homeless back to drugs couldnt get a job didnt have a place to shower to go to job interviews had to walk anywhere etc. luckily 7 years later i chose to turn it around.

When Badge up and left I was real upset. I understood why but sober guys like me need to hear this man often. Hope this doesn’t sound selfish.
Trav it is not selfish at all we have been constantly telling Badger to keep posting daily on his channel not only to help others but to hold himself accountable to his sobriety. He needs to win back his life and he has all the tools to do so. We have to keep pushing him. It takes a village. Most men could not deal with the demons Badger has to face daily. The long-term PTSD from incarceration in the moist vicious level four CA prisons, the beatings from sadistic jailers, taking another man's life, heroin and fentanyl addiction, a troubled upbringing, homelessness and betrayal.
