I really like this player. Previously, this wasn't possible at all. Unfortunately, I'm still missing the gate signal in addition to pitch and velocity. Then it would be possible to play the lowest note with the gate of the highest note, etc.

I loved your take on the trance gate method though, pretty cool to use it that way

Wow, didn't realise it was so complex lol

I made it look complicated ;)
But there are some creative setups that I used to show case its full potential

Could one plays only the bass or melody part of a chord progression on an other device? It's confusing me.

sorry missed this question, in theory yes because you can send out the note and gate cv outputs to control a bass line. In this context I would just use the lowest note to throw that against a bass line patch that can receive the note / gate cv output. And you should be all set.
For the melody, the structure would be depending on the type of note you want to focus on. So you could also 're-arrange' that sequence while making use of the velocity settings to determine the outcome on which notes are being used from the chord. That is an option to do so.
If I can come up with a proper idea on how to translate this info into a video, I might actually want to give that a try to combine them both at the same time. At this point in time, I am not sure if that is even possible though, but I have to think about it for a day or two.
