He fucks with you bro don’t worry. You aren’t a pro or anything but you made a mark in the skateboarding community for sure. You’re genuine and got to where you are by making good trick tutorials, reviews, etc.
I watch a bunch of good skateboarding, but I like watching you because you're a genuine dude on an honest journey of self-improvement. You're insightful about skateboarding and technique, and you're doing more than a bunch of other people do to try to help other skaters along. You're awesome.
And yeah, you're good. You don't have to be Nyjah to be good. You're a hell of a lot better than the vast majority of people riding a skateboard.

I've never understood why Gifted Hater is relevant. He is good at skating, but not that good, and all he brings to the table is gatekeeping, resentment and negativity. I surely hope what he wishes for others happens to him, and I that his relevance become something we regret.
Your videos about how certain pros do tricks helped me so much, and I still think of specific tips from those videos every time I’m trying to improve those tricks. Your channel has value to me and others, and you’re having fun doing it that’s the most important part
You’re going all out. I’ve been at it for 10 years battling injury and doubt every year but the difference is you took the leap and that’s what makes you strong and someone that inspires me to stay at it. You’ve got this bro! You’re gonna make this more than sustainable!
Keep doing what youre doing and dont listen to any haters whether theyre joking or not. Im 45 yrs old and you and s few other channels inspired me to start skating again. Your vids provides some things others dont. A million channels tell me where to pop or flick but you break it down to a science of where your shoulders and arms even hands should be and how each of these pros utilize them. Plus instead of you being the best skater we get to learn while you do. It makes it more relatable. I've enjoyed warching you progress while you give me hints on doing the same

Gonna be honest. I don’t think being a skate UA-camr is worth your time. Ben Degros had 3x your subscribers and was struggling to make money. If you have a career focus on that to support your family. I’ve personally never bought a product from a UA-camr. Lots of us just want tips.

I’m in a somewhat similar place of trying to get a business off the ground, and wanting to make that passion keep working, but also worrying sometimes that it might not be sustainable. I’m glad there’s not a gifted hater chiming in from the sidelines. 😅 Glad you are using the flame for more views and attention, though! Seems like that’s how the social media thing works. Don't let it get you down. You help a lot of people unlock tricks that take their skating beyond their level, and it's valuable, and some of us really don't need skate lessons or anything (maybe we do but ehh). We just wanna talk about skateboarding and keep getting better. You probably have a varied audience, from noobies to old guys who never stopped skating. I think you skate pretty good and should not feel imposter syndrome ever, you're always honest about your own progress and can usually pull off the trick. And you should have more patreon followers than you do, or some channels just put a join button. I haven't figured out how it works but I will probably sign up for a few months and check out the backlog of some videos and stuff. You have a lot of good tips and sometimes getting your brain working on a trick is good enough to get us to unlock a trick. I got back 180s the other day after you showed us how (okay, they're more like 145s lol). Besides he roasts everybody and usually it's pros too. I looked up a video on bushings to buy a skateboard and I found all these channels including yours, and it's actually pretty cool. There's a lot of weirder stuff I could be watching on youtube like slap fights or war propaganda. You're doing the public a service lol

whatever happens, these vids gave me a great attitude about skating even if theres not always a chill or supportive scene around and learning tricks alone is more common than skating with a fun crew. helped me realise i like skating enough to do it whether theres people with me or not, and im still learning new stuff. its cool just to know theres skaters with your attitude out there! someday i want to own a house with a diy spot and have a crew of chill people like you around. it will happen. good luck homie!

As someone who skates and only occasionally drops into skate UA-cam, it seems to me like Gifted Hater's whole schtick is just going after other skate channels. Maybe it gets him views, but it doesn't make me want to check out his vids.

I'm pretty sure Gifted Hater would hate on literally everybody. He'd probably openly question any content put out by total beginners like myself too, even when I'm just learning. He may be part of core skateboarding in some ways, but doesn't mean he has to be an ass about it. That's kind of his thing on UA-cam though, so no real surprise there.

I love your videos and the fact that you are sticking true to yourself and your passion. I like the idea behind the friday line as well, but I think the merch os super boring. I think with some better graphics that still include ‘Friday’ would be more captivating. At least for me

All “make every day a Friday” means is to treat every day like a good day and live it to its fullest. So many people live for the weekend and look toward the future when they could be living in and enjoying the present.

You’re good at what you do btw. Keep going. Dreams get harder to follow and priorities as you get older but your determination is very inspiring
More haters = stuff is heading the right way. Some ideas for videos: how to improve line skating, teaching other people crooked grinds(for example), learning new tricks from scratch, more transition videos, rail skating(from flatrails road to downrails off stairs), learning variations of for example noseslides, you skating different skateparks + skatepark reviews. I think you can improve on variety in your videos, maybe it will attract more different type of viewers.
Hopefully things will work out for you soon, these are just some ideas. Just looking forward to the next video!
