I’m 61 and I watched these two on The Last Song……they were young, I get that but I was 19 when I married my sweetheart. He was 24. Our marriage has lasted nearly 43 years! Marriage is a lot of work (people who say it’s not are lying!) I told my daughter before she married to get up every morning and think of her sweetheart instead of herself! I said the same thing to my son just before he married……my daughter is 40 and she is still married. My son is 34 and he is still married! Miley and Liam can’t fake the love they have felt for each other……They are Two Really Good People! Trust that.
Let me leave this: when a married couple finds themselves attracted to someone else all it is, is that they are attracted to qualities they “wish” they had in themselves. You're perfectly right, yet I think there surely must have been elements of beauty in that relationship if she stayed for that long ( apart from the trauma bond,lol). Relationships serve a purpose and even in their ugliness can teach us something. Miley surely learned about self love.
