Been listening to Rock Heavy metal punk and hardcore all my life ,but when it comes to music but I can really appreciate the performance of these 2 greatest artists of all time.
This is one of those beautiful moments in time where race, gender, social upbringing have no bearing. This is where music really is the universal language. When a male Italian opera singer and a black female rock singer can blend their music together to create perfection. The joy in their eyes is testimony to the love for what they do, and the mutual respect they have for each other.
So beautiful. You could see the joy on her face singing with the great Pavarotti, and you could see he enjoyed her voice...the look on his face at the end. Just gorgeous music. This is probably the best Pavarotti & Friends performances I've seen. They sounded so lovely together.

I agree up to a point. So many excellent excellent excellent English bands have been mixed race. Maybe Skunk Anansie should just be on the curriculum for their touching, moving and again, excellent work. Every member the band are great at what they do, albeit Skin being one in a trillion. I feel in love with this band because they were great in the genre of music that I liked. I didn't give a f**k what colour, race or religion they were. Maybe that's just music? It either touches you or it doesn't.
There were times listening to this when I heard Pavarotti's singing and thought: "How does anyone possibly match / complement that... Oh, that's how". Beautiful.
