I went on this route 2 weeks ago and previously a month ago. Not much improvement in 2 weeks.Pulling near maximum tonnage steel coils (top hats) Trostre steel works to a company in Braunston, Leicestershire. Not an ideal journey. Filtered off down the slip road of the A470 😮. Long delay. It was the same in the last month. I will not be going this way for a very long time. I reckon it will be another 6 months before traffic will flow uninterrupted.
I would like to hear from other truckers, do they share the same as I do. Cars being more agile,and easier to maneuver. It is a big saving if one is going to Hereford or the Midlands by car. For the time being I shall be using the A449.
