"Did we smoke crack before this performance?" I-....😂😂😂 I know of them from when they competed in X Factor UK and boy do they have a lot of energy, I felt tired just watching them 😂 And yes, they have been that energetic from the start haha. Song is actually not bad :) I think I prefer this one to Waterline, but both are somewhere in the same range for me.
There’s a live tv performance somewhere from the UK where one of them actually broke his ankle after landing from a jump. He carried on with the performance! Can’t remember what song they were singing though. But yes they are this hyper ALL the time!
It's certainly a memorable performance, regardless of things like their questionable singing abilities. Kudos for always trying something different, Ireland! And yes, the singers are identical twins (lol checked Wiki to make 100% sure I don't make a fool out of myself).
LOL What these two lacked in their vocals they sure made up for it with their energy. As for the song, perhaps with decent vocalists, this might have been quite a good song. BTW, when they first appeared on X Factor UK, they were James and Edward - hence Jedward
You should see their performance on the Eurovision home concerts. First just to see how they look nowadays and 2and because, well I found it not bad sounding. Preference: well my daughter clearly preferred Lipstick for a couple of weeks this year (she's just getting into the whole Eurovision vibe with her mom🥰). Kind of had my fill of it for a while. But yeah, Waterline mwah not so much.
That’s so sweet 😭, I bet it’s pretty cool watching another generation experience Eurovision for the first time. I’ll have a look at the home concert, now I’m intrigued. Did they sing this??
@@JordanDavisEurovision Yeah it is fun to share my enthusiasm with her. She's 15 now and last year we've been to Eurovision in Concert. This year we would have gone to the full experience, but well that got postponed a year shall we say.
I think, They were 19 in 2011, because they participated in the UK X factor i 2009, and if I remember correctly, They were 17 at that time. Yes Waterline is more melodic, but I think, I like both songs equally. I like their hairdo for Waterline better, but I prefer their clothes from Lipstick.
One of the catchiest if not the catchiest song of 2011. Vocals are so-so, but the energy is super uplifting. I had this in my Top 5, very memorable. Didn't like Waterline nearly as much. Didn't feel so fresh and different because they already did the same thing with this performance and the song wasn't as catchy to me at least.
Not a fan of Jedward, but if I have to choose between this and Waterline, I'm definitely choosing this. I'll agree that Waterline is more melodic, but I don't particularly like that melody while this at least has some personality and would be a great song if performed by someone who can, you know, sing.
John and Edward are probably *the* most energetic performers that've come out of UK television.I don't think I was that energetic as a child, and they were 19 when they performed in 2011(And yes, they are twins.). It tires alot of people out to watch them, and I totally understand why. I hadn't long woken up when I saw this video in my sub box, and I was just like "I wanna watch, but I don't want to have to go back to sleep already" XD I know alot of people don't like Jedward, they're kinda like Marmite/Vegemite, but I appreciate thier music, and I reckon they'd be great to hang out with.
I love that you called them by their government names 😂. Look that’s such a valid reason for waiting to watch a video! I was about to keel over after filming it myself!
@@JordanDavisEurovision I feel like alot of people just call them 'Jedward', and I find my brain blends all the people in said band/group into one name. So, with it being hard enough to tell them apart already, I figure it'd just be less confusing for me XD

It’s not...outside of the realm of possibility 😂.
this is by far my favorite irish entry and of that year, one of my earliest childhood memories of eurovision

👀👀👀 Well Jesus H. Christ, it’s like superhuman levels of energy and perseverance 😂
So much fun
I prefer this one because it's fun and always gets me pumped up.

@@JordanDavisEurovision Yep. They sang an acoustic version of this song.

No way! I was going to go this year too 😭 I feel your pain.
@@JordanDavisEurovision Hopefully see ya next year. And if you need a tourguide, I live like 20 km from Rotterdam so I think I can show you around.
Also in relation to their cardio, they were both very good cross country runners
Okay 😂 no crack, just cross country

That makes sense (love the little hot take at the end 😂).
I prefer Waterline so much more to this 😩 (I love Waterline 😂) but we seem to be in a minority! 😂
Right 😂, as in we literally may be the only two
Jordan Davis An underrated bop 😂

Not really in tune, dancing out of sync but I absolutely love it. Did prefer their song next year though
Probably the worst back vocals ever in eurovision
