Wasn’t too expecting these guy to be meta since CN is missing a ton of power creep and MCs. GO was the meta healer since CN was missing PV (unbuffed PV) and camellia debuted before even hollyberry, so he was massively popular before her update. Love that they still added new things to all of them to give em a chance still, though if Camellia cookie STOLE the buff instesd of just removing them, would definitely have been a huge game changer.
We still gotta respect that the devs went outta their way to add these guys, the story, and everything else to global server. That’s a huge amount of work and time to put into stuff that isn’t even too game changing.
camellia stealing the buff would be a great idea! also, instead of being 100% countered by mf's buff protection, he should be able to at least remove THAT and block buff protection for a certain amount of time

An idea on how I would fix Camellia cookie’s skill Skill description: Upon using his skill, Camellia cookie will gain the Artisan’s Creation buff and begin the art piece, charging at the enemies and dealing damage. With every hit dealt with the skill, he will increase his Crit%, DMG Resist and Debuff Resist. He will also increase his DMG Dealt to enemies. Emeries hit with the Skill will gain the Artisan’s mark, and will be Stunned and gain a Weakness debuff. With the Final Strike, he will deal greater damage and remove the buff of the two enemies with the highest attack. The Artisan’s Creation buff will be upgraded to the Masterpiece buff and will be applied to all allies, dispersing the buffs gained from the skill. The final strike will deal additional damage for every stack of the Artisan’s mark, and deal even more damage if the target is immune to Stun of has a Weakness debuff. While using his skill, Camellia cookie will be resistant to interrupting effects.

Not that I expect him to be broken but I was expecting something like Stardust, Crimson Coral or Elder Faerie level of good. Camellia feels like he was released during Dark Cacao - Cookie Odyssey era its crazy 😭 Same goes with the Osmanthus sisters, they feel like they were released during very early stage of CRK. I feel like they should've made these CN Cookies adjusted to the current Global meta since the time gap between the two servers are wide. I get it though, it's a filler patch but bruh- 💀
Its kind of annoying that everyone was expecting them to be meta right on release and is making a big deal out of them not being meta, like they were just gonna be there skills from CRK China they weren't gonna change anything and people thought they were gonna be meta? With his buff removal added, it seems he really was meant for the arena but with his current state, hes not going to get very far. Mystic Flour counters him by offering buff protection, he gets repeatedly crowd controlled with the amount of debuffs right now, and he has no way to increase his damage resist. Not to mention, the buffs he gives aren't very potent. He needs buffs and heres what i would give him. Debuff Resist: 20% for 8 seconds < 50% for 12 seconds. Crit%: +20% for 8 seconds. < ATK: +40% for 12 seconds. Stun: 2 sec + removes buffs from 2 targets with the highest ATK < Masterstroke debuff: Removes buffs from 2 targets with the highest ATK, ignores Buff Protection, decreases targets ATK by 35%, and increases their DMG recieved by 30%. for 10 seconds. Added DMG Resist: +40% for 12 seconds. Kind of some big buffs I know, but I think its warranted for how much CC and Damage is in the meta right now. He should at least be able to hold his own against it. In addition, his niche of weakening enemy damage dealers by removing will be much more potent. He doesnt need to be broken, but he should be strong enough to hol his own.
I don’t think Camellia Cookie (or the epics) is the problem, the problem is power creep and that everyone else before him is just better. The CN server is only about a year old, so the cookies will have lower scaling compared to the insanity of global. Which is a shame because I love this guy.
I can see the crème brûlée atk speed comp coming back in the epic only arena, ( like financier, Madeline, kouign amann, crème brûlée, and a random healer
The problem is he was made early into the crk cn meta, when the power level is lower, but they barely changed anything for the crk global meta, an a lot higher power level
The new update is kinda rushed and so many things are just not fitting in and looks odd. I kinda expected the cookies to be not that great which is understandable. But yeah the icons for the skin and the cookies is not fitting in with the others, golden osmanthus is the only normal looking one
i also noticed that some of the advertising banners for the new patch just doesnt seem…fitting? it’s like they took the cn ones and just edited a poorly made “oriental” english font onto it, this new patch wasn’t up to my expectations…tho i do like the new cookies’ designs

I really wasn’t expecting any of the new cookies released in this update to be meta. After all CN’s cookie run is in its infancy so for the CN servers of course the mew cookies like Camellia are meta in the CN servers since they don’t have the same overpowered cookies that the global servers have. Hopefully when the epic only area releases Camellia Cookie could be meta in there.
I hope he'll be useful in epic-only, Im kinda scared it's gonna be stardust only cuz hes proven time and time again that he can sneak his way back even into the normal-arena meta

I made a kinda cursed team. I gave monoclye (the better one), that one hollyberry artifact and jellywatch / feather. Cookies used are Golden cheese (raspberry) Camellia (choco, since he does barely any dmg eather way and buff remove is useful when he can use it) Frilled jellyfish (raspberry) Mystic flour (choco, obviously best with lowest couldown) Cream Ferret (choco) It counters most of comps exept for ones with ice yeti, rebel, and SOMETIMES mystic flour
i do NOT know why, but as soon as I saw "Super Epic", I maxxed out Camellia Cookie; I upgraded his skill to 70, got a biscuit for him, got toppings on him; AND THEN READ THE SKILL DESCRIPTION 😭😭😭

Id also even argue that the two second start works against them since they’ll usually use their skill first instead of dark cacao or someone else more reliable plus it’s not like any buffs that can be dispelled are up at the start of a match Nvm mystic flour said nuh uh they just suck especially for as long as mystic flour is meta
not as impactful since this is a filler update. the ancient + was a big part of the story and a huge update while this is just a small filler. Most filler cookies have only been for collection and such and its a way for players to save resources and such
The story is pretty good, another spice of life and fresh air for the Cookie Run Kingdom story from what we have with Golden Cheese Cookie. But yeah, Ima comment about Camellia Cookie here. Although its kinda sad that Camellia Cookie ain't that good as a Super Epic, it is kinda somewat expect since I just saw some vids of CRK CN, their meta is just a fresh air compare to the crazy things we have. Though from the comments, I do agree that he should've have an All-dmg up, like he is a painter, a painter who may suggest that he uses variety of colors, since he uses black ink for his skill, maybe it can also have a special debuff thats special only to him that inflicts All-type damage atk DOWN for enemy cookies and a special shield for it, and maybe something like Rebel Cookie's all-type dmg vulnerability, its got some niche, but hey that is pretty something. Overall, kinda good but not for our meta, maybe he'll get a spotlight for Epics + 1 Super Epic Only Arena. Hopefully Devsis buffs this guy.
I'm not mad about the new cookies. I never thought we'd get the CN exclusives, so it's automatically a bonus. Plus, their designs are so cute. The story is also sweet, like cookies (lol). It's too bad it's so short, hopefully we can all finish it all :) I wish we were allowed more free runs of the tile match, though, haha.

Unpopular opinion but I don’t think CN cookies should be significantly stronger than they originally adaptation mainly for continuity sake. It would be weird if in one region of the game cookies worked differently than others. I think they should just get magic candy’s sooner than later since they weren’t made with this meta in mind

Mystic Flour provides buff protection. Camellia cannot remove buffs as long as Mystic's skill goes off

I really wasn’t expecting any of the new cookies released in this update to be meta. After all CN’s cookie run is in its infancy so for the CN servers of course the mew cookies like Camellia are meta in the CN servers since they don’t have the same overpowered cookies that the global servers have. Hopefully when the epic only area releases Camellia Cookie could be meta in there.
I hope he'll be useful in epic-only, Im kinda scared it's gonna be stardust only cuz hes proven time and time again that he can sneak his way back even into the normal-arena meta

Golden cheese (raspberry)
Camellia (choco, since he does barely any dmg eather way and buff remove is useful when he can use it)
Frilled jellyfish (raspberry)
Mystic flour (choco, obviously best with lowest couldown)
Cream Ferret (choco)
It counters most of comps exept for ones with ice yeti, rebel, and SOMETIMES mystic flour
I'm gonna pull for him as a F2P anyways, but I'll wait for maxing out until the buffs hit and he gets useful 😎

i do NOT know why, but as soon as I saw "Super Epic", I maxxed out Camellia Cookie; I upgraded his skill to 70, got a biscuit for him, got toppings on him; AND THEN READ THE SKILL DESCRIPTION 😭😭😭

We need to complain to get a rework for all 3 cookies because this is underwhelming, we need to complain like how we did for the “ancient+ update”
not as impactful since this is a filler update. the ancient + was a big part of the story and a huge update while this is just a small filler. Most filler cookies have only been for collection and such and its a way for players to save resources and such
New cookies have such a disadvantage now. They have to compete with op cookies and its now a very low that epics will be meta😭
The story is pretty good, another spice of life and fresh air for the Cookie Run Kingdom story from what we have with Golden Cheese Cookie. But yeah, Ima comment about Camellia Cookie here.
Although its kinda sad that Camellia Cookie ain't that good as a Super Epic, it is kinda somewat expect since I just saw some vids of CRK CN, their meta is just a fresh air compare to the crazy things we have.
Though from the comments, I do agree that he should've have an All-dmg up, like he is a painter, a painter who may suggest that he uses variety of colors, since he uses black ink for his skill, maybe it can also have a special debuff thats special only to him that inflicts All-type damage atk DOWN for enemy cookies and a special shield for it, and maybe something like Rebel Cookie's all-type dmg vulnerability, its got some niche, but hey that is pretty something.
Overall, kinda good but not for our meta, maybe he'll get a spotlight for Epics + 1 Super Epic Only Arena. Hopefully Devsis buffs this guy.
the main thing that i am upset is that the new super epic is not class bomber or healer as those are the two missing classes of super epic rank.
I'm not mad about the new cookies. I never thought we'd get the CN exclusives, so it's automatically a bonus. Plus, their designs are so cute.
The story is also sweet, like cookies (lol). It's too bad it's so short, hopefully we can all finish it all :) I wish we were allowed more free runs of the tile match, though, haha.

Unpopular opinion but I don’t think CN cookies should be significantly stronger than they originally adaptation mainly for continuity sake. It would be weird if in one region of the game cookies worked differently than others. I think they should just get magic candy’s sooner than later since they weren’t made with this meta in mind
