Totally agree with your comments on the R18, had a couple of test rides during the Adventure Bike Rider festival here in the U.K. it’s laugh out loud insane, the way it rocks on the throttle and the pull when you roll the throttle on 👌 it may be my choice to replace the GSA in a couple of years time (as long as I can afford to have another bike in the garage).
I don’t know about you but I had a heck of a difficult time shifting since the gap between the shifter and the engine was narrow. But it’s definitely the type of bike that makes you smile. For my second bike, I’d like to go the GS route. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe!
I feel your pain. Went through somewhat the same weather farther north of you. 12" on the ground and riding? No way, no how. But as you said, what a change a few days / weeks can make. Excuse me......... Time to get on the RT and 'Head 'er on the Highway... Lookin' for adventure and whatever comes our way'!!! 😁 Video - 👍 Cheers 🍻
I have family up in the Seattle area so I heard about the snow levels up there too. But weekends like right now are totally worth it. About to take Blue out for a ride right now. Rubber side down...have fun!
Usually, sure. But two wheels in the snow on the hill we live on, it might. As for the rest of the City area here, over-the-top panic at a snow event seems to be the norm.
Nice bike. I enjoy watching your channel. Did 3 maintenance videos so far on my bike (BMW R1200RT) will be making more videos in the future, hopefully it might help a few motorist. You don't have to subscribe but I'll be more than happy if you did. Thank you for sharing. Ride safe.
Does the wife worry when you go riding? Mine won't let me get one cause she looks at the stats and thinks that I'll be on the negative/ bad side of them.
She does to a point. I’ve had a lot of rider training and been riding long enough to be smart out there and really look for those distracted or inattentive drivers. There’s always a risk when you’re out there but I do the best I can to mitigate it.
@@clutchtreks8311 I want to do more training but that is where I'm at. Where I'm always looking and attentive to what's going on around me and ahead as well as behind. My dad taught me that when first learning to drive which help make that instinctive when on the bike. She just looks at and assumes the worst will happen. I know people and seen other vlogs where people have been riding for a long time and no major accidents.
Saw the intro and had to give it a Like!
Thanks!
Full-on dad mode :)
You know it!

@@snohwk78 yep, there’s certainly a risk. But oh man, it’s so much fun. Good luck to you.
@@clutchtreks8311 thank you. I agree, fun, relaxing, stress relieving, and free feeling.
