Dunno about that man, there are alot of contenders like tyris flare from golden axe 1 And blaze from streets of rage. Not to mention dragon's crown sorceress, barbarian and elf waifus.
There are also Maki and Lucia from the Final Fight games, as well Star from Mayhem Brawler, Megan from The Takeover, and then you have somewhat obscure examples like Vanessa from Demolish Fist, and Ramaya from Arabian Fight.
I think this is the only classic arcade 2D sprites beat-em-up game that has a girl character that wears a pink thong, tiny tank top, pink leg warmes and jacket to fight goons.
1997? It looks like they started development in 1988 and then forgot about it for almost ten years, not saying its bad just that everything about it screams late 80s.
Sir this is a different version from the Arcade the stages are mixed up.I use to work in one and we had this game I had a friend and he would play this game all of the time and amazingly enough he wouldn't beat it with one quarter no continues those were good times but nonetheless this does bring back a lot of memories.
