Thank you so much.. I bought my unit from Amazon and did not get a instruction book This explains alot of things in a simple maner....I didn't get the part about the ribbon under the battery and it's already in the unit 😬. Thanks for the help
Yeh i have same one and bout 3 is when i feel it so be careful it can be alarming when it first starts to feel , be extra carefull on sd modes you might be on off cycle as you turn dial and itll really hurt on that one if you turn it too fast thinking your just not feeling it
I have turned dial the wrong way before when I was treating myself. I also had pads on both forearms and was alone so I had to fight the muscle contraction to turn the machine off. It wasn't so bad. Just shocking! 🤣😂😂(Pun Intended)
I did that to my left forarm few nights back , so everytime i went to turn it down my hand would tense flex from a pulse before i could touch the dial . I was just lucky i had the hz low so i had a second or 2 between pulses to finally get it 🤣
It's a good video but the main problem that I have is opening this little case that it comes in it's almost impossible to get it open I have neck shoulder and arm pain but if I had a good arm it was still be very difficult to get it open so I put mine in a Ziploc plastic bag
Thank you! I got this month's ago but the instruction manual is hard for me to read. I get a TENS when I see my chiro every month so I have never done one myself.
good video. I have one on the way. hopefully it works well for my hand tendonitis. do you have any patients that have used this for hand tendonitis? if so, any good results? my occupational therapist recommended this product. thanks.
Yes , my wife gets alot of shoulder and hip pains from bad sleeping positions so i let her use my tens machine for it , And just 30 min to a hour on it and she feels alot better . If your new to them start it as low as possible but feeling it, after your body is used to it turn it up a little but not to were it hurts , then after your used to that turn it up more again a little , just repeat that until your reach max power eventually . If you mean neck pain from sleeping i dont think a tens is a good option then due to closeness of nervous system to the brain and main artireys but im not a doctor im just a mad scientist
noone explains what width and rate means????? I get s confused..If you look in the booklet it suggests 70/120 what do you suggest othr than minimal 50..My foot doctor recommended this device highly for my heel of foot that was damaged from reaction to ripped hip...a burser bone protruded in heel of foot from this strain of hip...looking for pain relief on heel of foot
Width is the width of the area of effect of the current coming from a probe , so example a lower number will keep the current closer to the probe and higher numbers will spread to to a wider area . Now that dose include depth too so a higher number will also get deeper into the muscles in that location. Rate reffers to rate of pulses , so say you have it set to 40hz(hertz) that means it will alternate the current 40 times per second to create those pulses , so 100hz would alternate the current 100 times per second. Not all the modes will let you adjust those , some are preset for their use . What i do if i want to adjust those i will turn the dial down to where i barely feel it then ill hit the set button to modify what id like otherwise it can be discomeforting for suddenly just lazy not ready muscles to be hit whithout a warning. I hope that helps some , good luck and go slow , start low on dial till you feel it , once used to the feeling go a little higher gently . Stick to normal , pulse and modulation modes for now Sd1 and sd2 can hurt you if you keep turning it up till you feel it cause those have a few seconds of a rest period then . So with those ones try to get the hang of what number you start to feel on normal mode , that should get you into what youll be near on dial on feeling it and not over creak it Im not a doctor , i just use this alot lately for sore back and legs from work , and more recently on my new carpel tunnel symptoms
As for sugesstions , on width i tend to always stay on 300 unless its makeing a finger or other part lock up too badly then ill adjust down till that problem isnt so bad. As far as rate or hz based on my researching that will depend on the goal of your use , like ive found research into 40hz seems to help best for inflammation . Above 100 hz for pain reduction and help blood flow
Hi, I would not use this for your injury. If you cannot feel the electricity, you could harm yourself. Such as, if you can't feel bath water temperature, you could easily scald yourself. My advice is to do therapy with an expert in your spinal injury. And don't give up on it. As you are being moved, use your mind as if you are moving your own body part. After therapy spend time meditating. Focus on your spine reconnecting itself and picture string as a pathway from body part to the brain sending a clear signal enabling the body part to move. Picture neurons lighting up again and neuro pathways exiting with chemical and electrical impulses up and down that string. We do not yet know the magnitude of our brains healing our bodies. Don't loose hope. There will be a way to cure spinal injury oneday. Already we have stem cell research and robotics helping. I can imagine sudden loss of mobility can be very depressing. But focus only on what you can do. Not on what you can't do now. And DO all those things you still can do! You are still a whole person. Research on spinal injury is moving fast and with full force as we speak. But you are now still able to achieve incredible things in your life if you want to. You are your mind. But as for physical therapies such as this machine, don't use anything you cannot feel unless under supervision of an expert of your injury. This machine I think is useless if there are damaged pathways leading to your brain. However, there could be studies done on it's effectiveness on damaged pathways that you could google and find out. It's possible electricity is or was studied for spinal injury. But really, it's to do with cell renewal needed before this machine can work because it's based on working BECAUSE OF healthy spinal pathways to the brain. Not on reconnecting pathways. But there WILL be a discovery of this oneday. Research scientists are working hard. For now, find something you feel passionate about. Something you love and do it!!!
I found one study for you to read! If you still have control over some body movement then it's possible this could help you with pain issues. Just ofcourse never use it on any area you have no feeling. Hope this helps! www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6191807/
Just to confirm this device can not perform NMES correct? I know that this device has a lot of settings but I have not seen anything about it doing biphasic pulse modulation is this true?
I am a doctor but I'm not your doctor and this post does not count as a office visit or my official medical advice. That being said, I would use this machine for NMES. However, it doesn't do biphasic pulse modulation. That is true. E-stim formulas can be very specific and new studies come out every once in a while. This machine takes care of most of my patient's needs because many people need to reactivate muscles and it does that just fine. Cheers!
I just got mine and what ive read into thiese before the tape is to hold wires close to arms for some to keep them moving alot or catching things , not a must have to use just a nice thing incase wires are a problem for you
@@KitCatBrat73 your welcome , as ive used mine more now ive also found the tape helps to keep the pads on better if you have body hair or pads lose their strength to stick as well.
Mine did not work.........Did not get anything on the screen when I turned it on. changed battery....no effect. Anyone else have this problem? Great video though.
Id say the worst thing about this machine besides it obviously being ancient is that the battery lasts for 1.5hours. You can buy rechargeable 9v and a charger of course, but still. This is a huge disadvantage to this device and makes zero sense. Horrible design. Shouldve made to AC adapter compatible at the very least.
Thank you so much..
I bought my unit from Amazon and did not get a instruction book

You are so welcome! Happy to help.
I finally found a channel that actually explains everything I needed to know. Thank you
Thank you!! I just purchased the 7000 so this was very helpful.
i just got mine, and i couldn't figure it out. thanks for the video. it was a great help
Great video. So well explained for beginners
What is the best set up for someone who has neck pain. Could you demonstrate it please. Many many thanks!
Nice and easy demonstration really helpful
thank you, i just bought one of these. my back has finally destroyed me. nothing is working anymore. i hope this thing will help.
Thank you. This video so helpful!

can it use an ac adapter? or just buy a rechargeable 9v battery?
Very helpful, thank you

Nice and understandable video
Does the width make it stronger? As it it raises to higher number?
good video. I have one on the way. hopefully it works well for my hand tendonitis.

Does it deliver sound waves or electricity?
Thanks for the help
Does it work well with pain ? Muscle soreness or maybe if you slept the wrong way ?

Can I put an electrode on my forehead for migraine ?
What mode is better for foot drop nerve stimulation?
