the use of Lotor's leitmotif in this (and most times it pops up throughout the series, really) absolutely destroys me every time I watch the episode 😭 very much an inspiration to my music and sound endeavours :)
@@andrewxu3602 the clearest vers of it kicks in about 3:40, and even then it's not a one to one recreation of the full theme. But it uses the horn sample that's used for his motif, and comes in the episode right as Lotor's doing his "all the power in the universe at your fingertips" speech. It's more of an echo of what it used to be than anything else, which is rather fitting considering everything that's happening in the episode :)
@@andrewxu3602 that's how I'd interpret it! Though really, like most art, music is down to the individual listener and what parts speak to them :0 I could go on for a long time about simply the notes used in Lotor's leitmotif, it's such a good representation of his character.
"Poor Alura! All the power of the universe at you figure tips and you still fear using it!"
2:40 My favorite part. When the
Paladins go Beast Mode on Lotor.
The best soundtrack by far!!!
"Can you hear your lions talking to you? Voltron is capable of more than we ever imagined!"
Shoots laser beam out of eyes
Keith: ATTACK
All paladins : ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
This music is so incredible and it gives me chills every time I listen!
1:51 paladins enter quintessence field
3:40 Lotor turns mad
4:39 Lotors defeat
5:20 gets intense
5:41 Lotor defeated
Awesome! Thanks for uploading!
I loved this soundtrack so much!
I've been waiting for this to show up on UA-cam, I love this track. :)

Im remembering the lines in my head out loud and i can hear it too i think i jusy know some parts for that to happen i think its cool

@@lilithlaw Ah, so it's trying to communicate that Lotor has become a shadow of his former self?
