- Here is a video (for anyone who is interested) of my Corolla GT during its re spray which I finally completed recently! I have enjoyed other peoples videos so hope you enjoy mine!

I had one same colour same year I just used red Polish . I wish I kept it. Nothing could touch it way back in the late 90s . Which I found funny cos the insurance was way lower than what boy racers paid . I kept it factory because toyota done such a job first place. Thanks Dad for giving me it .You had great taste RIP
Thats awesome. I tried polishing a bit of it but it wouldn't last long before it faded again. I have the engine out at the moment, re-painting it and cleaning the bay. I'm nearly ready to go back in!

@@noddylloyd Thanks he was an hgv driver & bought it because he could get cheap parts from the Republic of Ireland . I hope your putting a new clutch in there while you're at it . First time I've tipped a mechanic 😂 I sold mine on to a kid who loved it after the spare wheel well rotted . He went to town on it & ruined the look . Toyota got it right first time . I kept it factory & it's still going C695BSP take care ☝
My first car was one of these at 18...to date still my favorite car I have owned. Mine was the same colour too! Looks awesome with the fresh paint, these are rare now and haven't seen one for a long time. Checked with DVLA and my car is history!! Jealous :-)

that car plate rpe was mentioned in Birmingham years ago pal I had 3 of the old shape and bew shape man I want it back but they cost a fortune man

from Birmingham it went to slough areas . the lads knew about c600rpe plate.
im sure that gti was sprayed purple in Birmingham then went around slough

I bought this one off of a middle age woman near me. I had one before this one and I used to see her in her one and she waved at me. When she wanted to get rid I bought it. 50 quid! They nearly just gave it to me. Thought it wasn't worth anything.
around the last year they did but there where only a couple thousand made and most of them never went outside japan. imo you dont need it in this car.its light and steers like a charm
i remember that one whuch was sprayed mauve purple it had chromes std rims
not this one tho
i know of a few which had the last 3 letters as RPE in various colours

@@Anonymous-mq5rm I don't have any other videos really. I did remove the engine during COVID and clean all of the bay up and did a gasket replacement rebuild and clean and paint of the engine. There was nothing wrong with the engine I just wanted to do it to make it look good and match the outside of the car. I have a lot of pictures of this and should do a similar video again of that process. I doubt I will ever sell it. Many people have asked haha. I'm glad you like the car.
@@noddylloyd I’d love to see the video on the engine bay clean up, it’s great that you’ve well looked after it, these cars are rare now & I would love to own one myself, this is one of my favourite cars, love it 💯
@@Anonymous-mq5rm I will try and get a video put together soon. It will only be a slideshow type thing. Yeah I love the car although I don't use it enough. They very rarely come up for sale but keep your eye open. They were rare when I bought it 15 odd years ago. I'm glad you like it.

noddylloyd do the B reg and C reg ae82's have power steering
As far as I know none of the ae82s came with power steering. Some people have converted them.
