Amazing legend so proud. Take care best wishes 😊
Legend! Nice to see Andy Murray reminiscing happily. ❤
Great tennis player…hero…champion…warrior…legend
So sad he was injured today 😕
Lovely interview with Andy - such a legend of a player! Personally, I have very fond memories of Queen's Club because I ballgirled there in 1983 (showing my age, lol). It was the Stella Artois Championships back then and was all in red. I was in tennis heaven for a week - the weather was glorious sunshine - ballgirling for the likes of Connors, McEnroe, Mayotte, Lendl, Tanner, Amritraj, Wittus, Mitchell, Bauer, Gitlin and Steve "The Bull" Denton. Connors eventually won the singles. Brilliant memory that I cherish today and will never forget. P.S. The stands nowadays are way bigger around Centre Court than they were in 1983!
Fun fact - if you go to Imperial College London and are on the tennis teams there you get to train at the club once a week ;) Pretty cool!
Great stuff. Played there a lifetime ago- I for Wood courts too..... To speed up your reflexes as it's the nearest surface to Grass! (next to maybe an ice rink)
Hope he can still play Wimbledon and Olympic 🤞🤞
I'm surprised Novak has never played Queens, it's an elite tennis club.
He has played once. Lost in the final to Nadal in 2008.
It's very sad the way these pros are finishing their careers. Andy's body is wrecked. Roger's knees are shot. Rafa has had his knee, foot and hip issues.
I guess you can't play at the consistently high level that has come to be the norm in top-tier tennis these days without your body seriously suffering... 😞
Sad they don't get to keep any trophy from that tournament. Seems very mean to me.
