Had to write an undertaking and forged my mums signature. After graduation I didn’t go to church for 5 solid years. Private school is no joke and I’m never letting my kids go to any in Nigeria God helping me

I graduated from secondary school in 2019 and was supposed to go to Covenant University but at the last minute I decided to go to Afe Babalola uni. Their rules are almost like Convenant like jeans are not allowed but some students that don't hear word still wear jeans but phones are allowed. Also we are not forced to go to church but I still go. Convenant university needs to develop the habit of minding their business sometimes sha🙄😂
I agree what what you said about it being a customised environment. I attended another private uni though but I can honestly say that I wasn't prepared for the real world. University is suppose to be a test run of the world, the "small" world.

Point one is underrated, that is the most important one. is point 2 not contradictory, how do you find smart friends when most students are immature and at the same time trying to maintain a low profile? It has been 12years since I left (I know the rules were a bit okay then, plus the accepted adults then) that school, and I won't lie I cringe at some thoughts from that school. In my first year, I practically had no clothes because every cloth I brought did not meet their standard, then after managing to stay low-key, I faced panel in my 5th year for saying hi to a guy. 🤣🤣🤣 But I won't trade going to Covenant University for any other Nigerian University. is TMC still compulsory? because omo e remain small I for no graduate because of jogging. I am glad you have your certificate (that is more important), if I am being honest, service is just for the fun of it.
Girl I can relate as an aspiring convenant university student (not of choice but) and also as an aspiring accounting student who also hates math don’t mind me asking but where you able to cope with accounting after university even though you didn’t like math and how did you make it through your accounting degree ? ❤❤❤
I don't totally agree with some of your points. I graduated from Covenant University years ago but when I was a student there I learnt a lot and I know life outside can be different but I believe as a smart student that wants to get something out of life, one should allow the School to pass through you properly. In life, not all experiences are terrible and not all experiences are pleasant. That's what life's about. Anyways, it's your experience and point of view, I don't know the year you graduated or how it was in your time. Everyone has different experiences because we have different take on things. Same goes for those who studied in a Federal or State University. For some, School is an awesome experience while for some others, they can't just wait to graduate and get out. Everybody's story is different.
