I still love camping, old fashioned camping, a popup camper and occasional tent camping. But, it's not very popular for most retirees, and pulling a camper trailer with a motorcycle is also not very popular, but there's a few of us who love it. Your current setup is something I've always thought about, a seasonal year-round site, it's like having a cottage. I relocated multiple times during my career, and didn't find my way to that type of camping, but I would have loved it. So you're now interested in an F3 for your next project, hmmm. Have you checked with anyone in PA about that interest 🤫🤔😉
I haven't really checked with anyone in particular. Do you know of anyone with a broken F3?
@Y-DER Well, it's very broken-in, with a ton of miles on it, not broken, but it's been very well maintained, so it's not really a project (yet), and you kinda know who's it is.
@@SpyderWayne Ahhh, I did comment on the shrunken Spyder video that I know someone in Michigan that could possibly fix it... That would be a good way to keep that Spyder in UA-cam videos. 😜

Camping on a spyder at our age, who would have thought it. We are retired and just brought a Lees-Ure-Lite Excell II trailer, we plan on heading to do the Cabot Trail this summer, attend SpyderQuest in Lake George and more adventures. It was Mrs. L that decided we should get a camper, saving on hotels, so now let the adventures begin. Maiden voyage done to Mallorytown KOA, learned a few things, plan on going back soon. We are not doing the whole camping thing because of limited space but will try our best😎😎

Life is short for sure. Praying for Coach Bob. Chatted with him a few weeks ago and reassured him as I had my own issues last year with not only the brain bleed but also my heart. I guess these bodies of ours were not designed to live forever. Hope your friend is doing better!

love the story of your Spyder. your camper and campground area looks beautiful. We too looked into the camping thing but after all the research and calculating cost we decided it was cheaper to stay in a hotel..lol. And how true that we look at UA-cam to fix things. Stay safe brother!
Thank you! Sometimes we look at the cost and think about the vacations we could go on instead but this works great for our and our kids social lives. We get to spend quality time with our friends every weekend.
Love riding my ryker a bit more sporty but for an old guy like me 63 its fun, do short runs and going on a 5-6 hours trip to destination, a bit of touring and return next day... some adventure is always good ... nice to watch you channel and a great re-build at your credit.

I've spent most weekends out on the ocean on my new GP1800R lately ... My F3 must be feeling neglected. You're right mate life's too short ... Need to make the most of it while we still can! 👍😎✌️

All that camping at the beginning sounds like a lot of hard work! We used to camp when I was a kid at the boat club where my folks had their summer camp spot. I actually enjoy tent camping quite a bit ...probably a bit more than TommyG. lol
I have an unreasonable phobia of tent camping.

We have a motor home which we take camping & tow the Spyder behind on a stinger trailer. As this is our mode of transportation when we have setup at the camp site. Works well for us as we like to visit different places when camping, but we don’t do the weekend trips too much hassle only for vacation. But otherwise we try get out for rides on the Spyder when ever we can weather permitting.

UGH - my '18 Spyder RT Limited now has a misfire on cyl 1. Runs rough and goes into limp mode. Mine only has 4,000 miles on it so I'm THINKING it should be simple - but watching this progress just makes me cringe as to how bad it could be! Love the channel!
UGH is right! Sounds like the first thing to check is the spark plug and the coil. That is no easy task, let me tell you... I always enjoy the comments section. It lets me know that I may have somehow helped. Thank you for watching.
I enjoyed watching the rebuild and the learning curve it provided. I felt the need to test ride the spider for myself so I went to a dealer but he would only let me ride on the back as a pillion passenger.
It was good experience but I felt the need to take it out myself to decide if I like it enough to make the purchase?

Can Am does have rider events where you can ride a Spider or Ryker. You should check with them to see when reps will be in your area or someplace close to you.
Congratulations on your new rv. Also I don't really do much on the weekends sometimes i just have a drink with neighbors. I just recently came across spyder it's a 24. The couple who is selling it on marketplace they want to much for it
It seems like the prices have gone up from where they were 8 months ago. But then I suppose prices have gone up on everything…

That's a goldwing 1995se Traded for a RT limited spider. 2021. I'm 68. The bike was getting a little heavy with the trailer.

I now believe that, had I been exposed to a Spyder years ago, I would have have already been riding one for a long time now. I'm happy that it turned out the way it did though because buying the broken Spyder has allowed me to connect with so many great people like yourself.
