I also enjoy group ryding. It's always nice to share all things Spyder with like-minded riders. You get to meet new and wonderful people and make some new friends. The only thing that sometimes irritates me is that group rides don't often stop along the way for beautiful scenery or to allow a stretch stop or a water stop inhot weather. I suppose it is easier to stop when you're only 2 or 3 Spyders than a group of 25 or 30. But still, riding for me is all about the journey. I am thrilled to attend my first ever Spyder rally this September, SpyderQuest in Lake George NY, should be a great time to meet other riders. And thank you for finding Spyder Wayne's deer😉 Cheers!
Thank you @SpyderRichard. I will be officiating 2 weddings in September, otherwise I would be joining you for SpyderQuest. I'm looking forward to planning some big trips next year (hopefully on the next project Spyder if I can find one)
Thank you! It is a bit of learning curve. I had to start somewhere. Hopefully I can get it away from the windshield or replace the windshield before the next video.
I just bought a Spyder yesterday and my buddy bought one two months ago and we live in Mich. We were talking about riding with a group but we are in Macomb county and there doesn't appear to be any in this area. You are not that far away we often stop at the same Kingston restaurant.
Speaking of soaked, I was riding home a week ago from a dentist appointment and got caught in a thunderstorm. I had a full-face helmet and a rain TOP on but not my bottoms. When I got home and took off my boots, I literally poured probably a cup of water out of them! I should have put my rain bottoms on but was being stubborn. Ride safe!
Now that I have the rain gear, the rain has been avoiding me. I rode between two storm systems a few days ago and didn't get a drop. I sure was hot in that rain gear, but I was prepared. lol Ride Safe as well!
Great video, we are glad you enjoyed your first group ride on a Spyder! We were thinking of buying a DJI Osmo Action 4 camera for our Spyder group rides, but your video may have us convinced to go the Insta360 X3 route! We would love to see a video of your camera/mic setup for your motorcycle rides! Have fun and safe riding!!
If you end up going the insta360 route, there is a link in the description that gives you some free accessories with it. I’ve heard the x4 is better but I couldn’t see spending the extra $100 at the time I bought it.
Looks like it kept off rain for you and good to see the ride out with like minded Spyder friends. I know you said you are considering an F3 that is the one I intend to go for in the future.
Is that a DJI mic I see you using? I went with the DJI Mic 2 and some other pieces to mount the receiver right there on the side of the X4. Still playing with it all, noise cancellation, in full-face helmet vs when have half helmet on, etc...
It is the original DJI Mic with a Shure MVL Lapel Mic run up into the helmet. I use the onboard recorder in it and merge the audio in post. I'm sure the half helmet is a struggle...
Man, I wish my Spyder said 89 degrees. Mine said 113 the other day. It was only 107 in reality. Just isn't real fun when it feels like you are riding in an air fryer. Have fun!
Very Cool Brother ... I wish I was there riding with you! The F3 is more like a Naked Sports Bike ... I Absolutely love mine especially because it has the Manual Gearbox just like a Traditional Motorcycle plus I don't have a Big Windshield just a Gauge Bikini which makes it even Sportier Ryde Safe Mate 👍😎🤙
Nice video and good editing x3 did good I love to meet other riders at event , but i am not a big with group rides. I usually meet them but only occasional ride with them. I like to ride in smaller group ( 2 to 3 max) I usually ride with my friend that has an HD , yep with the ryker , but my new muffler system sound like him !!!!!!! I will ride tomorrow as it will be a nice day .. But I see that you are wearing your road rash equipment ( oops) Question : do you ride in single file during your rides , I am looking this week at a F3 2017 manual Daytona ( yep Yellow) as a longer ride bike , but I keeping my Ryker also ..... Alain & Yellow

I really like your 360 camera. Very smooth video & the rotation views look great.

Just found your Post brother & left a comment ... I'm really Hangin out for this video!! 👊
I have a banger of a video filmed already. I just need to hire an editor. Cheers
@@Y-DER Can't Wait mate!! 👍

The group that I ride with is Spyder Lovers of Michigan. I believe there are a few members in your area. You can find them on Facebook.
@@Y-DER thank you

Nice to see you out ryding with other Spyder ryders!
Looks like you had a good time. Nice group of Spyders there too.
Best ride next to my first ride!

I hope you and I both find the right F3!
Haha, well I'm glad you didn't become close hugging friends with my "deer" friend 👊🤣👍
I don’t think I could handle that amount of pucker factor… 🤣
Great video. I'm ready for more. I think I see a f3 coming soon
I hope I can find a broken one 🤞🏻
@@Y-DER I hope so
F3's come with peg's or floorboards and 5 points of location. yes my Son is 6.5 with ultimate floorboards on his F3S (2015) as apposed to my RTL22
I would like to check out the 2020/up RTL also.
I love my X3, it's a little more editing work, but it's worth it. Just curious, did your X3 overheat or just outta juice?
Outta juice 😢
I have an X4 and am liking it over the GoPro setup I used to have
Great Vid!
Thank you!

Now that's hot! I'm going to guess Texas or Arizona? Hopefully it's dry heat and not this super humid, can't breathe stuff.

I love the Daytona! 👍🏻
What club is this? I’m from Michigan too about an hour south. Buying a Spyder soon.

Just sent you a reply email brother 👍
Those are some really terrible roads in the first 5 min of the video. Need to have your fillings checked after that ride.
Thankful for air ride suspension in Michigan... lol
