- Unboxing and real-time setup of TP-Link RE305 (AC1200 Wi-Fi Range Extender) via WPS. The video shows how to setup both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi signals using the WPS button on a dual band router.
Please note, the Nokia routers (provided by TataSky or Airtel broadband) usually have the WPS function disabled. Please enable the feature first before setting up TP Link RE305 or any other Wi-Fi router using the WPS functionality.

Hi , i really love your video , but i don't know how to turn 5ghz on , it only lights the 2.4ghz , and if i press the wps buttons again it just connects to 2.4 again
We have 100 Mbps internet but the modem is in the hall. My room is at the back so there is no internet access. We got Xiaomi's Wi-Fi booster too. I have internet in my room but I can only get 10-15 Mbps. There are many ping problems in games, especially in Valorant. This Wi-Fi booster is deploying 2.4GHz. I wonder if I would benefit from buying this 5GHz TP-Link RE305?
The 5GHz band on this TP-Link extender is reliable. But like any other 5GHz band it has limited reach as compared to the 2GHz band. But if the extender is properly placed between your Wifi router and your room, then I think it will work. The TP-Link app also provides a feature to select the optimum position for the extender.
