    Create you own magical fairy house with this step by step tutorial. Sit back, relax and follow the process from empty glass jar to finished house. The jar remains inside and usable, as the lid/roof simply unscrews, so it can be a secret storage pot, or put lights inside to make it glow. Many of the canes I use in this project are from previous tutorials, so I will refer to those when we get to them, and the links to everything I mention are listed below.

    You are absolutely wonderful!!! I am a newby at polymer , but am grateful God gave me the gift of a crafter. I’m 55 and was raised from the age of 5 helping my mom prepare for church bazaars . 🤗 A lot had progressed since then!!
    Anyways, I wish I had watched all the tutorials of yours that I’ve been watching before I invested in a lot of supplies. They will be used for other things if not for polymer. I’ve watched at least 15 of your tutorials over the past 2 days. I’m waiting fir my son to get the cooler up and running on the roof. I live in a desert in so. Calif, and my craft room gets hot in the summer! Anyways, i’m looking forward to doing many of the wonderful projects you shared with me. I’m also going to sign on as a patron ! You are truly a master at polymer. I don’t know if that’s what you focus on only, if so it works for me!! I’m wowed by the beautiful broach you made with all of those skills you have !! And that fairy garden house!!! Oh my goodness!! I am your no. 1 fan right now!!
    God bless you, and your talented hands and mind! Seriously, i’m blown away, and grateful I found you to teach me !! Thank you!!!

      @@FionaAbelSmithPolyOriginals amen! I’m cleaning and reorganizing my craft room now! It’s so hard not to stop at my bead station that’s full of great things , like every type of miniature frames I can use etc. I have to stay focused on moving out everything that is in the spot in setting up my plolymer station! I’ve had to tell myself “focus “ a few times. Well, I know your a very busy lady , but I have just one question. Do you accept patreon? Sorry I forgot to say this. There are a lot of talented polymer people out there , but none of them teach this art like you do!! Your an amazing teacher! How many years have you been doing polymer? If you don’t mind me asking. If you do mind I understand.

    This is lovely I think I will be doing this but in a smaller scale. A really good bark / wood veiner that won't cost anything is if you take a piece of husk from a fresh sweet corn and let it dry out until pale brown it will have a fantastic linear texture perfect for tree texturing, you just have to wait for the corn to be in season but the husk lasts for a long time and nothing falls off or stains so it's ideal, you could stick to some wide tape too for working with.

    • @FionaAbelSmithPolyOriginals
      @FionaAbelSmithPolyOriginals  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks so much Caroline, and yes you are so right about the corn husk. I was first introduced to it by Alison Gallant many years back, and have made my own texture sheets from a small piece, and use them constantly. :)

    I rarely comment on videos but I have to say you are positively magical. I have a special needs child that I’m homeschooling and, though I love it, it’s quite stressful. Watching your videos is like my therapy at the end of a long day. Thank you so much for doing them for free. You are so so generous for doing that. I’ve been working with polymer clay for more than 20 years and your talent astounds me. I’ve learned so much from every video you’ve made. I just can’t tell you how much these videos mean to me.

      J, I was having a really bad day yesterday (as we all do), but just before I went to bed, I saw your comment, and your words suddenly made my day better, so thank you so much. What you have said is really why I do the videos, I know how relaxing and therapeutic Polymer Clay is, and simply want to share that with others. I was especially touched as you say you rarely comment, so thank you for doing so this time, I appreciate it so much. I am working on my next free tut now, and am hoping it will be out by the end of the week. Best wishes and respect for what you are doing on a daily basis, Fiona xx

    Beautiful.... I leave my widows clear though and put a flickering LED candle inside to use as a night light.

    I made one similar to the one you make with some changes for my hair dresser and he is obsessed with it and totally in love. Wish I would attach it here to show you.

    Fantastic tutorial and you make the videos so easy to follow. This is the third thing I have made with clay and I am so happy with how it’s turned out. Nobody believed I had done it 😀. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos, I can’t wait to see what’s next.
