Every time I engage in PvP in Diablo Immortal i become frustrated. Today is another day of that as Alley of Blood returns to the game.

Not a big pvp player, especially in Diablo. It's a little too frustrating. I play games to relax and have fun. Not to be mad. I spent 2 years building my character and finding all the things I can, to level up. It's frustrating. When some new guy that dropped a ton of money into the game runs up and kills me about a million times. So I just farm and do whatever game modes and events that you talked about. Echo, thank you for your time
There's also changes Blizzard can do to help. For example, Maw of the Deep and a wizards black hole. They both put a circle on the ground. If you're outside those circles, then you shouldn't be pulled in. The area of effect should be the only area we feel the affects. Both those things pull us from half way across the map and it shouldn't be that way. Make the area of effect accurate to the actual area of affect.
Diablo was never intended to be a PVP franchise, while it does have PVP elements in majority of its games, it was mostly made for the PVE community.
PVP does exist since Diablo 1, however it was never the main focused part of the games.
I recently shared my thoughts on Reddit about the PvP mechanics in Diablo, and I still feel the same way... My issue it’s more about how the duels are made. They tend to revolve around incapacitating the opponent for mere seconds or milliseconds, effectively locking them down and preventing movement. Let’s be honest: Diablo isn’t really designed for competitive disputes; it’s primarily about the PvE experience. Like many others, I only engage in PvP events occasionally, and usually just to snag a specific bonus-nothing more.

No resonance in most pvp modes, all about skills and builds

That's just literally crying over bad play/pvp and blame on that mode which is the most balance among the pvp mode. It is what it is, you play bad, you loss. Its a win or loss. What's needs to focus on is a category base in battleground, where a 1k reso should not be match with a 10k reso or a 2k , or 3k, and so on.
I was doing abysall verge so much no matter where im at in the game itfeels like the verge is creeping up on me (muscle memory gets spidy sense tingling)
Dude you're using a summons build for PVP. You should try a build that has departed appetite with feeding Fulsom

I played the monk at launch and they were pretty op f*** $*** up.even low res was really fun then, blood knight l...felt good athe necro has always seemed strong both game modes,...I always look at the top five leader list for inspiration...of course the whale's will be in #1#2 but further down the list you can see builds that are realistic to acquire with out getting out the plastic..
I hear you - Alley of Blood isn't fun, neither is Wild Brawl or the Battlegrounds. I'll do 3 per day for the event tracker bonuses, but that is it.
Conqueror is a lot of fun though - I love that & play it a lot every time it comes back.

I honestly think they need some sort of CTF game mode with alley of blood style stats everyones still equal but capture the flag would be fun kinda like WoWs battlegrounds..
Its also annoying that necro summons die at every little cutscene, fall, drop, breeze of wind, ect. So a summons build is always getting nurfed and can almost never be at full strength because summons are always expired or running off to fight mobs and players 12 miles away from you while you’re just left defenseless. Im just wondering who tested this and gave the ok, because that person could seriously be replaced. Meanwhile you have classes like Tempest just pushing one button-without having to worry about all their summons (aka damage) being half way across the map, or running the opposite way of the golem that keeps them ticking. I can’t be the only necro who has noticed this….

The EXP diminishes as you level up I went from 2 million to 1.6 before redeeming on one occasion I know I'm kind of late but I just found the video

I feel like one of the biggest issues that you’re facing as me is that the necromancer through updates has not seen any positive buffs for PVP. Most classes have a immune to control. The necromancer does have the shoulder piece essence that allows immunity to affects that knock you back, but does nothing for slow down stun freeze. The necromancer has hardly any skills that allow high damage output for PVP. The Simmons get killed instantly. Even with using the essence that provide damage immunity for summons, it takes so long to get all of your summons out on the battlefield to be effective as a player that you waste time and are not benefiting the team as a necromancer summoner. That being said, you are left to run around and use lance and merely just slow and irritate your enemies.
I try to finished it all but it's so hard to win it takes hours before I finished alley of blood so annoying

I think it time for diablo immortal to give us more to do we need new aread like give f brand new areas with new quest and new explorations to do i mean i also thinks its time for new dungeons that we all can love and do over and over cuz like knce your done the campaign unless yourbin a clan or really your doing your morning stuff now your doing bounties the keys then mabie dungeons then events a lot my friends that beat the compain they telm mow wasted their money buying cosmetics and not have a game to us them in cuz the compains dkne and their bored they didnt juts buy a cosmetic to jts collect 1 daily crest and do some bounties i think this would really bring even more players to the game and keep diablo immortal longer longer
I dislike PVP completely in any MMORPG game, I only love to Grind My character through Pve tasks only.
not enough mats to upgrade equipment to reach CR for inferno 2 . Im not playing as much as I used to. So frustating since this was just a fun game.
They need to nerf attacks that orbit the player. People just cast it and walk through everything.
For F2p players this is just a torture :(

Alley of blood is one of the most free to play friendly as it gets. In pvp no proper build = ☠️. Dude pvp is not as easy as you might like. You don't play enough = no practice. Dont expect to be good in something you don't even try to be good at. Thats where most people get frustrated because pve is a joke no way to test your skill and gives an impression that it is good enough to complete with other players. Just practice, everyone has to start somewhere.
I'll take it over bg. My res is 2040 at GoldIV, many one shots.😢
I play Necro. I feel best build in Alley as Necro is to utilize your CC and support capability. Have others kill your setup. 2 fears, corpse pillar and bone armor just gives so much to the team.
I play for the pvp and friends in game. To be honest the other stuff is monotonous. Imo. But, to each their own.
Echo and fellow adventurers, does worrying about xp really even matter anymore at a certain point? Every "new" player is walking around at roughly 450. I'm playing at 365 right now and am the lowest "numerical level" alot, yet look at stats on a guy that's 470 and he's doing less than 10K damage with 100K life. Yes I know those numbers aren't as important as my gear and setup and secondaries etc, but I'm kinda laughing at levels even mean at this point.
PVP is gonna be a drag if you don't have a PVP build and build up your secondary gems. It's no fun to just get stunned and killed all the time. PVP is the P4win aspect of this game. So if you aren't going to pay, you are going to struggle in PVP. Up to the player to decide if that's important to them or not.

I don't do battle ground At All... But I do alley of blood. Because in battle grounds I just get 1 shot. Alley of blood my skills contribute more. But alley of blood is way buggy and layggy.
I found you can collect more often it resets
Like pvp in COD, This game if don't spend a lot pvp is useless in my opinion and zero fun getting killed in a second or two.

Feels strange echo, this mode is super easy for barbs, saders and necros, just put your 6 pieces banquet and spam wraith form (bebble rank 10 will make it prolong) and go kill people

I play a lot of pvp for my clan but also solo and in fact I would say it’s a pointless game to play if you don’t like pvp because you only play pve to get better gear and materials to upgrade gear ranks so you eventually can get stronger.
(Max normal gem slots is extremely important rings always blue sockets)
Iknow you say reso is power and it is almost true
But I would say normal gems is way more important same with runes, pet and that is obtainable completely free in the game and you could gain so much power and enjoy pvp if you would just stop focus on reso and go all in on normal gems 😊 and I would say if you go do a pvp event or bg or anything pvp related use a pvp build necro has a insane pvp build atm you kite huge whales without dying.

Focus cat pet high resilience amor pen , amor potency and resistance gems and get a good pvp spec and you can enjoy the game again😊
