Al Salaam It’s better to do the chain link, cycle gear may have it. It will restore the original wheelbase. This is important for how the bike handles & better for two riders.
@@fipl1205 thanks for the quick reply, I just got my bike and started watching your videos, you saved me like $80 because that’s what the sprocket ⚙️ at venom Motorsport costs
@@miami180 I was going to change the carb. I had ordered one without looking too much into it but it ended up not being compatible with the motorcycle. Let me know if the one you ordered works well and what difference you notice.
@@fipl1205 You live in USA you have endless possibilities , here I'm struggling to find even 16T sprocket and we are not allowed to buy from ebay or amazon international transactions are disabled for our cards.
I drove it as pampered as possible, in my opinion. That being, driving it a couple miles at a time, 2-3 mile trips. Not letting the rpms get too high. Medium accelerations. Nothing too harsh. Once in a while when I saw myself in a high speed limit street I'd have to accelerate faster than usual and go higher on rpms and speed. But overall, just residential drives.
You need to get a longer chain , you replace all the sprockets at the same time , you shouldn't just gey a front sprocket on used chain and rear it will ruin what you paid for
Just got the 17 on it really needed it where I ride!! 55 at about 6500 rpm!!💪💪😎😎
im thinking about doing this i have a benelli bn125 it acclerates decent but i need more top end for the long straight roads i drive
Did you add a chain link for the 17tooth, or you just adjust the chains tension?
Just move the chain tensioner

Hey I have the same bike it was driving fine I turned it off and now turning on, not even cranking what you think might be the problem?
Flat battery
Did you have to change the chain for a longer one?
No, this motorcycle allows you to adjust the placement of the rear wheel in order to supply or release tension from the chain.

Have you changed the carb? I ordered the Nibbi carb and going to install it soon

What's the sprocket size in the back?
Would this work for the 2022 venom x18r 200cc?
Would work on anything from a 50cc to turbo busa. If you can swap out the sprockets, it can be done. Obvs get the right one to fit your bike.
The bike design and wheels and tires amazing. You could use an engine swap
That would be cool

I meant its not turning on right now?

welcome to the 17 tooth club
I let it sit for a while and now I'm having trouble turning it on. Hopefully I'll get it to start soon.
@@fipl1205 if it sat...then u might have stale fuel or clogged holes...carb issue, needs full cleaning
I did clean the carb and changed the spark plug. I might look into bleeding the full out and putting in new fuel next.

Would you recommend this bike bro? I'm a new rider
Honestly I wouldn't. Save money and try getting something more reliable and slightly faster so you can get out of bad situations if necessary.
It's his bike , not the sprocket, changed my front sprocket to 17 teeth , gained 15 mph , bike tops out at 90 comfortable not too high rpm either

I need to replace my battery do u no wat kind to use cause they can’t find it
Look up your parts for the bike rather than asking a youtube comment section
So the venom x22 is faster and better in first gear at the speed of 22 mph
Wait so wat is your rear sprocket
I'm not sure, standard size it came with.

how did u get this to work mine doesnt fit with the chain
The rear wheel is adjustable. You have to loosen it up and push it in a bit.

What mpg you get ???
Where did you get the sprocket?
amazon, i searched for the exact one on the venom website.
Do u still have the bike and if so how’s it going
I gave up on the bike, it gave me too many problems, I bought a different one and it has worked so much better.

I love this bike bro .
Is the motorcycle heavy?
I think it's around 320 pounds
I believe 320 pounds is kind of heavy for a small guy. What bike do u recommend for a new beginner. Thanks
You only get 53mhp out of your 125cc ? You need to sort that out , that's stupidly slow
I suggest watching the video entirely. It goes faster than 53mph.
Speedo will be off due to gearing change fyi
Depends on where the speed sensor is located. I think these still use speed sensors in the front wheel, meaning it would still be calibrated.
Yes my speed is off
Fyi chatting macca
@LukaBean10-4 how u do the recalibration after a vm22 n a 17 t
Change your carb you will hit a 100 easy
I don't know if the rest of the bike could keep up a higher speed. It feels sketchy already at the normal top speed.
wtf is a carb?
I take mine to 70 no issues
@grajalesracingteam5242 yours is the base x22 model? What mods did you do to get to 70?
