Adam literally been through so much, and the only way to cope with feeling out of place and alone at home was to bully Eric at school. There was an episode where Otis told Eric that he’s insane for falling in love with his bully, but honestly Eric seems so good for Adam. It’s like Eric cures Adam’s loneliness, and brings him nothing but happiness.

I know, I know the relationship was toxic, I can't say no, but imagine you been Adam, in the past he couldn't be himself, that shit is the worst thing in this life but then he overcame the obstacles and... He is improving to be a better person and to be himself. Eric helped him a lot, although they may not be together in the future, it's okey bc they helped each other a lot.
