I cant believe how naïve these people are, the only honest answer was given by the last person who said “you wont win with just a Kursk” If Ukraine wants any leverage over Russia it needs to occupy at least 5 oblast bordering Ukraine from Kharkiv to Belarus that’s about 170,000 km2 or just 0.7% of all Russian territory, Russia is country of 17.5 million km2 of land. Right now Ukraine holds less than 600 km2 of just Kursk oblast out of 31,000 km2 or 0.000000000000000001% of all Russia. If you want leverage over Russia you need to grab few major cities not few little villages or few million people not few hundred pensioners. I honestly think that 99.9% of Russians don’t even know there are Ukrainians holding few villages in Kursk oblast

Ukraine needs to understand 2 things: a) NATO doesn't care about them and uses them recklessly; and b) taking dirt is without value. You can have all the dirt you want when you kill the enemy. So far, for a little dirt, Ukraine has lost 12,000 dead. Ukraine has made too many attacks for media exposure. Most of these attack resulted in huge casualties. I thought they would understand this by now.

However, trusting Boris Johnson's assurance of support for a victory led to Ukraine losing 20% of its land. Moreover, Ukraine has incurred a significant debt to the US and Europe, which it must repay with resources or territories as stipulated in contracts. Consequently, Ukraine's options are limited to surrendering to Russia and losing Donetsk, while potentially ceding another half to the US and UK, who will claim to protect Ukraine.

As a ukrainian, I would also like to answer: I view this operation as a maneuver. Not a distraction, not an agony. A maneuver in a maneuver war against Russia. Why we even do this? Well, the ration of ukrainians per russian is 1:7, which means we can't possibly beat them in numbers (same applies to heavy military equipment). Sooo we need to use creativity, using smaller groups, and doing it as effectively as possible. Some bots in the comment section here have stated, that Ukraine is dragging it's last reserves to Kursk. If that's true, it means russians have to act correspondingly. So there's a stretching of the resources from both sides. Which means that at this point nothing has changed, only the spreading of both sides across larger territory. No clear "victory" to any of the sides.

As a ukrainian, I would also like to answer:
I view this operation as a maneuver. Not a distraction, not an agony. A maneuver in a maneuver war against Russia. Why we even do this? Well, the ration of ukrainians per russian is 1:7, which means we can't possibly beat them in numbers (same applies to heavy military equipment). Sooo we need to use creativity, using smaller groups, and doing it as effectively as possible.
Some bots in the comment section here have stated, that Ukraine is dragging it's last reserves to Kursk. If that's true, it means russians have to act correspondingly. So there's a stretching of the resources from both sides. Which means that at this point nothing has changed, only the spreading of both sides across larger territory. No clear "victory" to any of the sides.
So why Ukraine started this war if it cannot win? And why continue if it only increase losses?
