    PJ you were flawless in your overview. Thanks for cutting to the chase and clearly showing us the differences in these machines. I learned a lot from you today, and I subscribed, which I rarely do!

    Wow, I went from the Harbor Freight email sale on their new battery carver, down the rabbit hole all the way to these high end carvers. What really got me in this vid is that _'click to lock'_ feature. That's cool... no wrench to lose!?!?

    How does the Strong 202 do with the reciprocating attachments?

    • @treelineusa
      @treelineusa  3 роки тому +2

      Good question. The Strong 202 only works with the rotary handpiece. The reciprocating handpieces will work with the Dremel or Foredom tools.

    Quite informative video. Are all your products 110V or they can also be used in Europe at 230V? THank you for the video!

    • @treelineusa
      @treelineusa  2 роки тому

      Good question. The Strong 202 can be changed to the 230V with a simple switch on the power supply. You would just need to get a different power cord (like a printer power cord). The OZ Plus needs to have a unique power supply for the 230V. It is available, but the manufacturer has recently published that they will not warranty their products if shipped outside the United States. I think they have had too many problems with people using the improper transformers and plugs with these products which has caused damage to the tools. Feel free to reach out to us and we may be able to offer more specific help. treelineusa.com/contacts/

    Do they sell thes Carvers in the UK?

    • @treelineusa
      @treelineusa  3 роки тому +1

      Hi John. We could easily ship to the UK. A few of these tools have a switch to convert to a 220 volt. You would just need to get a different power cord (like a power cord for a printer) to fit your socket. Our website will calculate the actual shipping cost depending on where you are located. Thank you for your question!

    I have a bit of an interesting question for you, hopefully its something you can answer. long story short I have carpal tunnel in both hands but I also love to power carve trouble is I cant do it for very long due to the vibrations in the tools, was wondering if you could direct me to one that is rather minimal in that area its not about cost but being able to continue and enjoy carving like this.
    I do have a large collection of gloves to help but its not enough, living in australia doesnt help much as my choice is severely limited so I dont really get the chance to try any out so its alot of trial and error.
    I have a dremmel and its not that great in that area for either, most of my work is with my arbortec turboplane and arbortec grinder which isnt to bad
    but I need a smaller handheld one for finer and narrow and awkward work

    • @treelineusa
      @treelineusa  2 роки тому

      Carpal Tunnel is a pain!! I think a micro motor tool would be a great option for you. I don't know for sure what brands of micro motor tools would be available in Australia, but the handpieces are light weight, not too small (so you don't have to grip as tight), and have very little vibration.

      @@treelineusa hey thankyou for your reply that helps alot I will take another look but we're pretty lackluster there are alot of just cheap chinese ones that im really not that keen on here sadly. so I will probably end up getting one from you guys, that strong 202 looks pretty interesting will take a closer look at your ones and just have it shipped over.

    • @treelineusa
      @treelineusa  2 роки тому

      @@ShrikeZeta The Strong 202 power supply does allow you to switch between 110v and 220v, but you will just need to get a different power cord (usually a printer cord works great). The manufacturer tells us that they will not warranty tools shipped outside the United States because the shipping is so high, but I do not anticipate you having any troubles. With current shipping restrictions through the postal service we can only ship to Australia via UPS. Please contact us through our Contact US link on our website and we would be happy to give you a quote. I think you will love this tool!

      @@treelineusa hey thanks again some really helpful info, think once I settle on which one probably the strong 202 and probably some other stuff to help me feel better about shipping lol ill be sure to message on your site and go from there.
      its not my first time getting stuff from other countries tbh most of my equipment I end up sourcing from other countries, I tend to be a little particular about what I want to use not saying we dont have stuff here but the choice is often the "staple" brands and I shift more towards the higher end and niche items.

    So the foredoom is more for larger carvings? Can’t do tiny detailed carving like gunstocks or ostrich eggs?

    • @treelineusa
      @treelineusa  Рік тому +1

      With the Foredom's slower speed and higher torque, it really does better for more roughing and shaping compared to the micro motor tools. With that said, we have seen people do gunstock engraving and small details with the Foredom, but with the micro motor's higher speed and ability to use it easier like a pencil, the micro motors tend to be the preferred tool for engraving.
