you had the draw piles wrong. the piles should be numbers face up, so that you reveal the effect side. that way you can see the upcoming effects for the next round on the number side.
I wanted to play this game but the idea of being able to afford to buy my own house was so unrealistic I went for the moon version.
Some of the best board games play off our favorite fantasies.
