I used to have a shop and website selling Thomas the Tank Merchandise, the researchers for this show rang and asked if we could donate anything Thomas the Tank Engine with the promise that if it wasn't used it would be returned. We sent over £200 worth of gear, apparently Ringo was in denial of him narating TTTE and wouldn't discuss it. When we spoke to the researchers after the show, they had already shared the merchandise amongst themselves!!
he could have just said its right for Frank, Ringo luckiest man alive .cant sing, not a great drummer, married a Bond Girl, owns three houses, cant act, and hes worth a fortune.
*Skinner got 'had' because Richie didn't use that style of signature in the '60's* (I'm surprised that someone in show-business could get 'taken-in' so readily, especially if he's a 'Fab Fan') *The real 'tell' on his 'signed-piece is the paper & inking of the 'BOAC' flyer or coaster or whatever...the paper should be showing it's age because 'manila-type' adverts like that begin 'shedding' from age and become 'limp' and the copy-ink should be showing signs of 'blotting' where the lettering is no longer sharp and crisp* (The best thing is to 'compare & contrast' with another flyer of the same era...and see if they match in appearance) (Ringo knew it was fake as soon as he looked at it... )
Does anyone know where I can find the video they showed, of Ringo and George going to work with fans everywhere? I'm sure it's on youtube somewhere, but idk how to find it
He kind of is and they kind of all are. I can totally understand not wanting to talk about the Beatles, on the other side of that though is totally irrational to think you're ever gonna shrug that off. I'm sorry but if Lennon, McCartney and Harrison couldn't ever overshadow the Beatles with their solo work then Ringo isn't gonna either. It pisses me off when a star gets annoyed at having to talk about their best known work. So many famous people are like this, my guess is it comes from being disconnected from ordinary people, and having to keep up a public persona.
Paul Fadzil What’s with this “we” bullshit? When Paul returned there to do carpool karaoke with James Corden, people in the street seemed pretty impressed to me. Maybe you should just speak for yourself instead of presuming to speak for everyone else.
Yes, he was great on the records. But after watching Peter Jackson's Get Back, i realized that Ringo is a big ZERO. Contributed nothing except farting, picking his nose, and being a total ass to Maureen.
What are u a moron a band that come out 13yrs after the Beatles formed were more revaluationary than the greatest band in history. Always fun to see Ringo. Love his sense of humor. He seems like a genuinely nice guy.
Genuinely nice? What does that mean?

Yep! Incredible. No contest, no one will ever recreate or come close to the Beatles. Ringo is so awesome!
Ringo looks younger more fit and healthy today in 2019 then he does here in this clip from 2005...love the Ringo wit

That's show business. Lesson here is don't give away things for free.
That’s our triangle like everyone has a triangle
Those signatures are real; believe me, I've been studying them for bloody years! Frank Caiazzo and Tracks UK are the guys to have them verified by.
LennyJohnson5 I’m guessing Ringo’s probably a good judge when it comes to verifying their signatures, particularly his own.
Gun Of A Preacher Man You’re not familiar with the famous ‘Scouse Sense of Humour’ then......?
LennyJohnson5 Being born in Liverpool, I might’ve heard that one somewhere. But like, all you need is love, it’s untrue. 😬
Simon Simon you call that callous? You are the sensitive sort.

I thought this was an awkward interview. Ringo came across as kind of up himself.
Yeah a little bit self congratulatory. Love The Beatles but it annoyed me.
This is a relief compared to his many boorish, drunken television interviews from the late 70's/early 80's. So glad he got off the medications.
I’ve heard Frank Skinner say that on the way to the interview he basically told him he didn’t want the interview to “go on” about The Beatles
@@florencehodbale9142 you cant blame him when he's been being asked the same questions for 40 odd years

I'm sorry, is hitler in the band???
He bought a fake Elvis shirt too 😂

He's not

Very rude to that drummer.
Seems to use hair dye all over his head, his face, his brows, and all over his neck.
It's a shame, Ringo seemed to be the most humble of the beatles in the early days, now he seems the most arrogant.
Well, there's only Paul and Ringo to choose from...
With the exception of George they were all arrogant. We in Liverpool are not impressed by the beatles
