These places have been struggling since before covid / pre hatchery shut downs. When the state had the hatchery problems and stopped planting fish, it DESTROYED fishing in so cal. Yes, it was only the small state fish, but those fish would keep the bite going and give some hope of catching until the big boys (county) rolled through. Its dead. Sierras kinda on that same path. So many people kill it up there, keep 400 fish per trip. All because of the covid era and hatchery outbreaks. Sad.

I've heard Jess Ranch Hatchery has had numerous complaints on quality of fish.

Where’s all our fishing license money going? I know most of us get that second rod permit also, and every year they keep raising the price! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Unfortunately the county receives both private and state fish. The state fish have been going on schedule but the county private plants have been getting lighter every year and that is definitely affecting the bite. Plus the quality of the fish they are putting in aren't very good from Jess ranch. I don't see it getting any better as the county really doesn't care. They just want the money and they don't care to understand why there is a decline.

I'll fish Mojave narrows it's usually real tough but usually I can get one but it's always later in the day at least for me. One thing I absolutely love and respect about Glen Helen is the rangers and the bluegill bite when it's warm. The bluegill there are solid imo. I always keep it around the old jail for those . I hope this next season brings better quantity all we can hope . 😅😅🙏

Corona Lake has been closed for a while... They had a lot of problems with water quality and they couldn't fix it.
