BMW e65 turbocharger remove Problem found !

  • Welcome, in this episode you will watch me disassemble from this superb BMW e65 the turbocharger, the problem of this turbine can be seen in the clip. What happens !? oil flows in it on the exhaust side, and when the car sits it accumulates oil inside the turbine and flows around the metal clamp on the protective shield under the engine , and when it is running it deposits soot inside the exhaust, and in such a car it is ugly to have dirty exhaust on the inside . I only used original gaskets OEM everything was done professionally and cleanly. Thank you for being with me on this adventure

      @@MOvidiu Sorry, but no. I found you because of AC problems on my E61. Was looking for info on replacing evaporator, should i need to replace it.
      Your 3 part series on replacing evaporator on an E60 is a golden gift. Thank you big time for that!!

    You are very professional and your work is clean but Probably the turbo change comes in parallel the change of the turbo filter It's my point of view apart from that everything is perfect 👍🏻

    What an awesome job!! Wish I had such a great specialist working on my car. To change the turbo and the exhaust gas manifold, do you have to remove the engine head cover mandatory? 8:30 I am preparing for this job and I am tryng to figure out what other parts and gaskets should I change if I already remove the turbo and exhaust manifold😁

      Of course you have to remove the head cover if you want to do something high quality, and you will have to replace all the gaskets ...

    E mai inghesuit compartimentul motor decât la alte modele?Cate șanse sunt sa o ia pe ulei și sa distrugi motorul fiind automata,e mai mult o lucrare de întreținere preventiva decât o reparație de urgență?Oricum felicitări și bine explicat.

      Salut 1 nu e inghesuit deloc , daca turbina cedeaza sunt sanse sa o ia pe ulei , intredevar daca vrei sa ai o masina de baza trebuiesc facute toate din timp ....

    I just did this job but oil leaking from turbo line underneath even though I replaced all seals. The outlet for turbo line is very hard to get lined up and seated perfectly. I have to do all again now

    Foarte frumos lucrezi si explici pe masura. Tocmai ma lasat turbina ieri. Scoate un fum ca locomotiva. Cat a costat reparatia turbinei la specialist oare ai putea sa imi spui? Multumesc frumos

    Why are you removeing everything on the top of the engine when the turbo comes out on the bottom of the car?

      Hey! If you are watching closely in that garage, there is no car lift! And if I remember correctly, it is the same work, and when you remove it from the butom, you need to force it a little bit . But I didn't say that this is the correct method! I just showed up how I've done it!

    Salutare Ovidiu, nu mai ști pe tester presiunea la turbina in relanti ce valoare are? Am o problema la o turbina recondiționata si nu îmi dau seama dacă este reglata ok geometria sau nu. Pe tester in relanti îmi arata 1.3 bar, în sarcina maxima 2.5 în această valoare este inclusa și presiunea barometrica. Cu testerul meu nu am alte valori pentru presiune turbina. Turbina este cu actuator pe vacum. Mersi!

      Salut! la relantiu trebuie sa ai presiunea atmosferica! ( nu barometrica :)) ) , in turatie sau sarcina depinde de programul de lucru. pentru diagnosticare corecta su usoara iti recomand sa folosesti istaD . In primul rand va trebuit verificati toti senzori sa nu fie decalibrati si facute niste masuratori in timp real! daca masina are ''soft facut'' te vei chinui cu ea, daca nu te descurci iti recomand sa apelezi la cineva specializat!

      @@MOvidiu mersi! Atmosferica da! 😬, ideea este ca trebuie sa verific multe la mașină, are si alt motor, turbina recondiționata, ceva modificări în softul mașinii pe motorul vechi 😁😅 nu-i ușor sa o trag pe linie fără fum și cu tras cum trebuie 😉 mersi pentru info 👍

    Salutare Ovidiu foarte bun din punct de vedere explicativ. Felicitari.
    Detin acelasi model de motor iar actuatorul meu de la turbo se vede si aude cum tot deschide si inchide, schimband in acelasi timp si zgomotul evacuarii iar masina nu mai trage cand face asa, uneori isi revine daca opresc/pornesc masina. Ai putea sa-mi spui parerea ta? Mersi si bafta

      Salut, ar trebui demontata turbila si trimisa la reparat si cel mai probabil actuatorul va trebui inlocuit , normal trebuie sa faci o diagnoza si sa vezi ce se intampla .......

    Salut . Am schimbat si eu turbina . Ti'am urmat pasii . Ideea este ca acum numai porneste masina . Singura eroare pe tester este P14A4 ceva pe exaust cred ca sonda lambda .. doar invarte dar nu porneste

      Am pus turbina cu acelasi cod , doar ca cel de la care am cumparat masina . Si-a scos motorina din ea ca avea fulul facut si a scos pe la bancheta .. dar am.verificat si vine motorina la injectoare . Am schimbat si bujiile incadescente si nimic

      Salut, din pacate nimeni nu poate stii care e problema fara sa vada fizic masina sa testeze ...etc , datul cu parerea ...ce ar putea fi , e o pierdere de timp . Poate fi ceva simplu ...

      Am reusit sa o pornesc dupa mai multe incercari . , intre timp am observat ca si capacul de la cubultori este crapat intrun colt. Astazi imi ajunge altul . Ideea este ca dupa ce am oprit motorul iar nu mai vrea sa porneasca . Posibil ceva slabit pe la injectoare sau pierde compresie prin acel loc la cubultori

    E65??? E65/e66 has 2 different v8's or v12, unless its diesel????

      Hello. This car is diesel 730d m57 6 cylinder in line , and there is 740d v8 on e65 e66 if this is the question

      Turbina avea ulei in ea de la bancul de test , si pe deasupra s-a dat mult la automat pana a pornit motorul :)

      @@MOvidiu Nu am vazut capacele de pe miez,tur-retur!eu de obicei dau fara mufe injectoare puse,cand efectuez lucrari care ulterior necesita lubrifiere imediata!Unde te gasesc si eu pt o constatare la cutie/cutie trasfer e91 lci xdrive!?
