I was parked at the side of the road having a picnic with my kids that day, watching John hammer back and forth in the Aventador. I was hoping we’d be in the background somewhere, but no such luck!

      Did it sound good?

Yeah, sounds great. Much like any other Aventador. That road is way too narrow and tight to really ring out the engine, but I bet it sounds amazing at redline.

I loved this video. Your passion for the car could be felt.
I owned a 2013 Aventador for two years. I loved it.
Then I traded it in for a 2018 Aventador S. This for me is the most beautiful car I've ever driven and alot of the things you complimented the Ultimae for sound similar to how I would describe driving my Aventador S. It's a supercar for road driving and feels so responsive with a gorgeous sound.
So the big question that no car reviewer is answering is - how much better is the Ultimae compared ot the Aventador S?
That's what I want to know.
They seem so similar to me and the S seems to have 90% of what the Ultimae offers and there were less "S" Aventadors made than Ultimae cars.
Could you compare the two cars? It would be good to have that comparison as I can't see it anywhere.
Thank you for such a beautifully filmed, brilliantly narrated and exciting piece of automotoive haute couture.

These are just little bit more responsive and maybe just a bit refined. Along with new color options.

There aren't even that many versions of the Aventador: LP700-4, SV and their refreshes: S, SVJ and Ultimae :) I don't see anyone complaining about the many variants of the 911 🙄 (And I agree, the GT3 is the top of fun car needs, anything more than that are just things you desire like the scream of this V12 🌚)

Great review! Why all the hate? It's a very cool car! There's a reason why they're selling it in its hundredeth version... Because its sells well and plus its been worked on for years with small upgrades each time to finally make it as close to perfect as it will ever be! That definitely sounds like a great recipe!

Thank you for saying “last unassisted”. People keep saying it’s the “last naturally aspirated”. A hybrid motor is not forced induction.

Alot of people say it’s a dinosaur, and complain about the variations they make. The real point here is perfection takes time, each modification adds up to the whole experience and that’s exactly what’s it about…the experience. 1000 hp is overrated, not everyone can buy a hypercar on top of them sounding like vacuums I would personally enjoy the vibrations, sounds and raw feel of a dinosaur then over engineered cars of this current generation.

Exactly. Besides, 99.99% of naysayers have zero firsthand track/supercar experience.

I’ve had a lot of cars but the 16M Scuderia felt like this .
Uncompromising brilliant dramatic super car for people who LOVE driving .
The car will never be made again .

But less than 812 Superfast and not to mention the Competizione version of 812 with a whopping 830 ps !

    • @artgreen6915
      @artgreen6915 2 роки тому +1

The SVJ held the Nordschleife production car record with 06m45s. Manthey Racing's revised kit for the GT2 RS beat that by only 1⅔s.
A German magazine put the 812 Superfast round and got 07m27s. Maybe Ferrari could have pushed that down to 07m20s, and maybe 07m05s - 07m10s with the Competizione. I'd be surprised if it breaks 07m00s.
Edited lap time format to prevent UA-cam assuming I'm referencing timestamps in the video.

LOL Good ole Lamborghini. How many Aventador variants are there now? It is a dinosaur and other cars have surpassed it, BUT it still gets admiration like no other. Never meet your heroes though. It's a terrible car to drive anywhere, but on a track and an open road. I'm just a regular ass random dude. The Huracan is a much better driver's car.
