I think the point that white paper misses in regards to EOMM “keeping people on the game” is that yes, it may in the short term lead to players staying on for 20 more minutes in the desperate hope of actually winning a game…but long term those players stop playing. I know this because I’m one of those players. I used to keep playing through losing 5-10 games in a row with brain dead teammates playing against bunny hopping try hards, but eventually I burned out and just stopped playing multiplayer. Their “data” doesn’t capture that. It just shows people stay on the game (once they’ve already logged in) for 10 mins longer than average. But doesn’t account for the people that just choose to not log back in. /essay

I used to play Warzone from 2020-2021. I haven’t played that junk in 3 years. I find crazy that Warzone launched around the same time COVID was spreading. But yeah Warzone has messed with the multiplayer flow for 4 years now. I’m surprised people still play it.

Warzone was done for me once Resurgence Solos was removed. That alongside the match rigging algorithm made me put it down.
Activision is scummy by the core. And the fact that the IGN said “Accused” clearly doesn’t know we’ve been complaining about the BS Activision has been doing for a while. Great video G.

Bro in the last week I have been booted from no less than 25 ranked WZ matches due to not enough people to create a match in the time window. There really are not a lot of people playing this game right now.

Warzone 2019 was great. After the Cold War update, it died.
I could never get into it. Personally thought it was kinda boring. And multiplayer got the shaft since it dropped so there was that as well.
But aye at least you had something you enjoyed during that whack lockdown 😂
