Important point made straight from the real world of flying. Also, something many simpilots neglect in practicing. It certainly should be part of getting to feel an aircraft in the sim. Nice quick video as always!

I was thinking about this very subject because I almost over-ran a runway yesterday. Thanks! This was useful!

And that was good advice, good advice!

When aborting a takeoff, should you pitch down so the breaks gets better traction or should you pitch up to use the wings as areobreaks at the cost of traction?

AFAIK, you always use neutral or up elevator when braking. All aircraft will tend to "kneel" when brakes are applied, which can lead to prop strike with tricycle gear and flips with traildragger gear. I'm not sure that pitching down adds much brake effectiveness at all, let alone enough to justify the safety risks.

      @@Tobascodagama Makes sense, thank you!

One thing that's important which is not demonstrated here is that if flaps are being used, to immediately put them up (clean) to maximize tire traction aka braking.
