Funny, the one thing I thought my EWI4000S had over the Aerophone was the ability to turn on an octave below, by using a side switch. I downloaded a Matt Traum scene from the Roland Cloud and was happy to see that function was available in that scene using the S1/S2 switch. I immediately started adding that function to several scenes. I should have seen your video first!
Great video....Question: You may recall on the AE-10 there was a sustaine function .... Where I could? play a note and as long as i'm continuing to blow any other note i play would be layered on top whether it's higher or lower...... and I think it was a CC 65. I was able to assign it to different buttons and I would love to have that feature on the the AE-30. I cannot figure out how to do this on the E30. Can you please please help me figure that out?
Yes- 1.go into the Aerophone app to your sound. 2. Got to “Common” and scroll down to “Harmony assign”. 3. Choose “octave below”. 4, Go back to home page and choose “internal” 5. Scroll to “S1”, click on that and inside that menu hit “assign function”. 6. Scroll all the way to the end and choose “harmony sw”. 7. On assign mode hit “latch” 8.After that save it by hitting “Write”. That’s it. When you hit the S1 button that should trigger the lower octave.
Thanks for the S1/S2 tutorial Keith-- very easy to follow. Much appreciated as always.
Keep making videos Keith, great stuff thanks 👏👏👏😎
I just bought the Roland AE-20. Thank you very much!
Awesome Keith thanks, I'm now subscribed 😎👍🏼

I dont have my AE30 yet but great to start learning this stuff thanks
Great thanks! Can you do one on setting the harmonies? I had no trouble on the AE 10, but can’t get the hang of the 30.

Is is possible to have the S1/S2 switch turn on and add another "scene" to the current one?
Trying to figure out how to set the harmony interval. I'd like to have an octave lower when S1 or S2 is selected. Any ideas?

@@KeithMckelley Thanks. I forgot that this was accessed in the Common section. I wasn't exploring that tab at all.
