I'm not into organized religions, but I look at Jesus and his teachings as you do. We are always taught that God is Love. I grew up in the Baptist church. Was even church pianist from 7th grade until I graduated high school. Something else was calling me. I feel like most organized religions tend to create division rather than unity. I once heard The Lord's Prayer as translated directly from Aramaic. It is nothing like the one we have always recited. It mentions beings of light and other things that religions usually don't want us to think of. It was absolutely beautiful and meaningful. Thank you both for this wonderful conversation. With all due respect, madam, but looking at the oldest manuscripts of the gospel of Luke and Matthew we can see that the Lord's Prayer was written in Greek and an Aramaic version would be a tradition for men like you Christians who know how to say but not about God.

Jesus never said to be a blind follower. Jesus said: "Whoever hungers and thirsts the truth will be filled." This guy in the video is using his mind, and dare to think, and looking for Truth. Nothing else happens here. Since Jesus said: "I'am the Way, *The Truth* , and the Life - *no one gets to the Father but by Me* " - remember? This means to *search for truth* , not to be in blind faith.

Now, what you believe is up to you, but the guy in the video is promoting demonic practices using sugar-coated half truths. Now concerning apostle Paul, he himself states he was crucified for no one, but only Jesus was for everyone and to follow him in like manner as he follows Jesus, that was his ministry towards the glorification of the Kingdom of God. Paul's written epistles were influenced and led by the Holy Spirit. It is scripture. It is the Word of God transferred through Paul. So if you discount what Paul wrote, you discount the whole Bible because it's either all of Jesus or NONE. It's either ALL IN or all out there is no partiality with God.

If you start being really honest about the contradictions of Jesus' teachings and Paul's - you may realise that, you are wrong about this statement: "the whole bible is whole, and not corrupted".
Some people have so small faith, they afraid of loosing it (and eventually this is why they do actually at the end); so they dont dare to question the bible.

@@wizmycookie2631 It seems that you are using the Bible as support to prove that the Bible is unreliable. The answer is reconciling the gospel of Paul with the Gospel of Christ. They are not contradictory, there are just some things that we may not understand, such as context etc. Remember, God can maintain mysteries that are to be revealed in His time. I'm not saying that Jesus was not somehow related to the Essenes but He definitely cannot be defined by their sect. of their writings, or the writings of others relating to them.
My first encounter with the Essenes was in Dolores Cannon’s book, “Jesus and the Essenes”. It widened my point of view on Yeshua and also John the Baptist.
It’s interesting to see the contrast between Saul's & Yeshua’s gospels. When I lived in the Middle East, one solid argument the Muslims had was that both characters were different and Paul had his own agenda.

I don’t think that Paul taught an entirely “different gospel” I think his words are just easier to take out of context. Like Ephesians 2:8 saying we’re saved only by grace needs to be read in context, he continues to say faith in Jesus creates good works which we should walk in-like all the good things Jesus taught us to do.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, CREATED IN JESUS CHRIST UNTO GOOD WORKS, which God hath before ordained that WE SHOULD WALK IN THEM.
Editing to add this comment I posted below: I wrote this comment very early on in the video because I notice most preachers take things out of context (I grew up Mormon, had a lifetime of it). But I very much appreciated what Aaron had to say and am very much a heretic myself, so I would agree if there is any discrepancy between Paul’s words or Jesus, I’d trust Jesus 100%.

Paul preached the exact same gospel the apostles did. Galatians 1:15-21 and Galatains 2:1-10 confirm it.

Yes indeed. Those ignorant who don't see Christ's Perfect Gospel in Paul's writings are simply tools of the devil, plain and simple.
There do exist Christian doctrines that quote only certain 'grace' passages from Paul, but if you read thru all of his writings one can see he was consistent with Jesus and the Apostles. There existed 'Judaizers' in Paul's time who wanted to impose animal sacrifice, circumcision, all the old Levitical laws on Christians and Paul was adamantly opposed, and ultimately Peter et al agreed (to our benefit), in other words the other Apostles recognized and respected Paul - despite the occasional spat.

Historian Dr. Jake Wasenstein in the Jewish Chronicle did an article saying Islam Saved the Jews. The Muslims protected the Jews in Spain for 800 years.
Jews from around Europe were facing extinction and had a place of safety under Muslims ruling and flourished and called it their Golden Age.
When the Muslims were defeated and the Spanish Inquisition started persecuting non catholic and jews, they chose to flee to muslim land in Morocco. Even later Albanian and Bosnian Muslims saved the Jews from the Nazis.

Yes, yes exactly i was essentially raised faithless but as a young teen asked to go to church with some friends I became a Christian until in my 30’s became disgruntled with Christianity and the condescension and condemnation many Christians expressed over not only Buddhists but any being that wasn’t Christian. I understand the path is narrow but ones heart and mind must transcend the Christian construct and understand that Jesus was never a construct as exemplified in the Beatitudes, Matthew 5,. The word Beatitude, Latin for beatus, underscores the truth of Jesus teaching: blessedness, or state of well-being, or state of being. Jesus teaches compassion, peace and love ❤️

Yes! Isaiah 64:6. A long time before Paul came along. Paul was reinforcing this verse by instructing that only faith saves you, not works. This never implied do not do good works. If we truly have faith, our faith is made evident through our good works. Paul was merely trying to get the point across that the works do not save you.

Faith without works is dead is not talking about salvation. It’s referring to your faith being profitable to your fellow man.

I also am a pastors son. Have preached and taught every level of Sunday school. After being out of the church for 10 years I found a new wife and church she went to. I agree. Paul is a fraud. Jesus was about true love for God and each other. Paul is all about rules and regulations. Peter (Jesus' chosen successor) and Paul experienced much tension back in the day

Listen, Bible says people will proclaim the things of God, and deny the power thereof... As soon as you start giving credit to the universe that God made, for being God, I can't rock with that.
Jesus said he came to fulfill the law and the prophets. All pauls teaching was reiterations of the Old testament because he was actually a Pharisee at first. Then he came to the truth of Christ. Christ is Old testament fulfilled. Do you think the god of the Bible is actually going to go against the Bible? If anything he would just back it up supernaturally so that people will know he is God and of the Bible.
The heretical Essenes REJECTED JESUS…exactly as the Pharisees, Sadducees, and most everyone else did, prior to their crucifixion of Jesus, whom 100% of the Essenes denied. Only difference, the denying Essenes disappeared into the desert, to foolishly wait for ANOTHER MESSIAH. Then, they finally died out-still foolishly waiting for their mythical Messiah-after the Temple was destroyed…all of them, dying without the knowledge that Jesus was not only their Messiah…He was also their God.
How sad. A whole Christ-denying cult…in hell.😩
This is exactly how I feel about the church. It confirms everything I'm studying at the moment. I love Jesus, but I don't love the religion that used Jesus as its puppet and don't want people to look for the light and knowledge within. Thank you 💝

When I look at the story of Jesus and look at some religions today that are based on the life and teaching of Jesus, one difference is Jesus knew God was within him and all of us and the religions that are based on his teachings externalized God
I believe it was a level of enlightenment that Jesus reached that most humans are unable to. Anybody that's done it in the past has their own religion or mythology or planet named after them... We really got to read it all to understand it all... To see the bigger picture that everything connects. And now we're becoming the enlightened humans all together at once rather than one every seven generations or something like that

I definitely respect the level of research and thought that went into creating this. Putting yourself into a position of questioning things is important, however, I do not think that some of your conclusions coincide with the evidence that we can observe in the Bible. Just as an example, it is estimated that all of Paul's writings were complete prior to Peter's last epistle. With that being the case, Peter (who physically, personally, and spiritually knew Jesus) had ample opportunity to correct Paul's writings. And yet, Peter validates Paul's epistles and wrote this in 2 Peter 3:14-17
"14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation-as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures. 17 You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked;".
So if you are going to state that Paul's teachings contradict Jesus' teachings, then you are also questioning the validity of anything Peter preached and taught. By attacking Paul you attack Peter, by attacking Peter you attack the rest of the disciples and their integrity, and by doing so you also attack the "Red Letters" as you referenced them, because all of the documents become untrustworthy. The logic you are using to dismantle Paul's teachings also dismantles the "Red Letters" that you are trying to hold in a higher regard.
My friend, it appears you are not aware of the fact that no biblical scholar (other than Christians of course) attributes 1 or 2 Peter to the apostle Peter himself. These works are clearly written by Paulian disciples attempting to patch up the very dramatic rift between Paul and Peter. The proofs for this are numerous.
There is no question Peter strongly opposed Paul’s teachings (and Paul calls Peter a hypocrite in Galatians 2 after Barnabis ditches Paul to join Peter and the disciples).
Read the Ascents of James and the Pseudo Clemintines. These are 1st century texts recording the early Christian movement and clearly show the rift between Paul and the disciples of Jesus (led by Jesus’ brother James).
@@AaronAbke Seems to me like you are trying very hard to deceive people of things you can’t back up. You’re trying to convince people of your word, instead of what is proven with evidence in the books of the Bible. Its church tradition that Peter wrote Peter. And The Word of God is inerrant. And its not uncommon that atheist scholars disagree with the authorship of the books of the bible and its claims. However, that is not surprising considering their own biases and its not a problem because they continually are proven wrong. Ill give you an example: in the 1880s, Scholars thought that the Hittite empire didn’t exist because only the Bible talked about it. However, in 1888 Archibald Henry went to to Boghaz Koy Turkey and found inscriptions, later on they found thousands of Clay tablets, ancient temples of the civilization and more. Same happened with Nebuchadnezzar, King David and more. And they they’ve been proven wrong with archeology over and over.
Its so interesting how you try to use incident of Galatians 2 to try and prove your claim, while also willingly ignoring that 5-4 verses earlier, where Paul said Peter approved the Gospel that he preached and added nothing to it. This nitpicking and taking verses out of context is a bad look.
I also find it amusing how you claim Paul is a liar and also using Paul's statement about his disagreement with Peter. So apparently Paul says the truth when it benefits you but he lies when he doesn’t. 🤔
So make up your mind, either Paul said the truth or he didnt. And if its just pieces that you disagree with, then what do other apostles say? Oh yea, they all agree.

In 2 Peter 3:14-18 Peter says that Paul’s writings are hard to understand, and that the untaught and unstable will distort what he says, “like they do the rest of scripture”, which is an interesting way to categorize Paul’s writings if he’s not preaching the same gospel as Jesus. Is Peter incorrect about Paul here?

ALL scholarship is generally in agreement that 2 Peter is a psuedographic book that was inserted into the new testament by the Church 100+ years after Peter.. so really, it was just the church writing, in the name of Peter, trying to defend their favorite apostate Paul
Paul had to explain his Gospel to Peter, James, and John (Galatians 2:2). It's not the same Gospel. Paul's Gospel is that Christ died for our sins and rose again for our justification. Jesus sent out the 12 to preach that Israel's promised kingdom is finally at hand (Mark 1:15). The 12 had no idea He would be dying, let alone be raising from the dead.
@@bugsocsollie1694 Jesus has told his disciples not once, not twice, but THREE times that he would die and raise up three days later (Mark 8:31-33, Mark 9:30-32, and Mark 10:32-34) and it even mentions in Mark 9:30-32 afterwards that the disciples did not understand what Jesus said, but were afraid to ask. This is something big to note because this shows that Jesus told the disciples before, but it’s only after Jesus rose again is when they realized what he meant by this. Paul doesn’t teach a different Gospel, Jesus showed his mercy to Paul (formerly Saul) and Paul then started to preach Jesus’ message to the world. Jesus told the 12 disciples that he would raise from the dead, and it’s clear that scripture shows that even if they didn’t know it BEFORE he died, they knew it AFTER he rose from the dead and proved that he was alive again.
@@bugsocsollie1694 How are you so intellectually dishonest? You can read 4 verses after (Galatians 2:6-8) where Peter, James and John approve the Gospel he preached that’s why Paul said “They added nothing to my message”. So its clear Paul preached the same gospel the apostles.
Paul says works are not necessary for salvation. He did not say they were unnecessary. In fact sanctification is manifested by works. Blessed is a cheerful giver.
Tibet speaks of Yeshua. So does Ethiopia. Find these books. Learn Yeshuas way. Honestly, it is very simple. He told us several times. Love God, Love each other. Do these 2 things, everything else falls in line. Love this one Aaron.
Thank you Aaron! I appreciate you breaking some of this information down for us. I am a former evangelical Christian who was raise outside of the "secular" society. So this is helpful to connect Jesus' teachings to what I have come to understand since on my own spiritual path.

If you believe this, I challenge you to look deeper. These men don’t understand - there is complete agreement with the Gospel preached by Paul and the person of Jesus - no disagreement.
I was radically brought to Christ through reading scripture and have grown in knowing Him ever since - remaining in His Word daily since. It is truly the same God, Old Testament, Gospels, book of Acts, and all the Epistles.
This teaching is a rejection of Christ revealed.

Most people misunderstand Paul. Paul had many instructions on how to live, and he did not teach that people could live however they wanted as long as they had faith. Paul understood that the Mosaic covenant was ending, and that the “works” of THAT SYSTEM were no longer necessary. Paul was the apostle to the Gentiles. The world of the Gentiles included uncircumcised Israelites who had turned their backs on the Mosaic covenant. Now they were being welcomed back into a covenant with God, but not under the conditions of the Mosaic law, but rather under the conditions of the New Covenant. The New Covenant requires faith in Christ, not works of the Mosaic Law. Living under the New Covenant still requires living a holy life, and following the teachings of Jesus.

So, Paul was actually addressing his own people rather than the gentiles. There are other elements in Paul's teachings which are problematic. One problem is the introduction of the imaginary "body of Christ". If somebody becomes a part of this body he/she immediately looses the freedom of an individual. Instead it becomes a part of something bigger like a piece of a machine. And Paul teaches that nobody but the head can speak (with the analogy of the eye, the feet, the hand and so forth). This opened the door to take control over millions of Christians. Over generations Christians learned to accept monologues without the right to comment on it. Only the man on the pulpit counts. And the pulpits were always controlled by a little group of men tightly connected with other powers in the world. Don't call somebody Father Jesus said for your Father is in heaven. And what introduced the old roman church? They introduced the "Holy Father" which controls a major part of Christianity until today.
@@Weggefaehrte Paul was addressing his people who were being called out of the nations and the gentile believers who would cling to them, the Jew first then the gentiles yet the scriptures make it clear there is no distinction no separation no difference in Christ therefore the gentile believers were just as much Paul’s people as his own brethren according to the flesh who had come to faith in Christ. None of Paul’s teachings are problematic the problem is we try to insert our understanding and ourselves into Paul’s teachings. For example you assert one loses the freedom of an individual by becoming part of a body and use “body of Christ” as example, I’m not sure if you’re a Christian or not but let me ask if you are, exactly what freedom have you lost in being joined to this body I contend you haven’t lost any but rather gained liberty. A secular example of being joined to a body is this, I assume you are an American, as an American you are part of this body you are a citizen citizenship comes with its own rules regulations laws etc that are only upon you as a citizen ie you can’t be convicted by the law of China here in America that being said are you not free although you are part of this body do you not maintain your own identity ethnicity heritage etc but have also gained all things that come with being American?

I believe when Paul says "my gospel" he is talking about his writings about Jesus Christ and in those verses he doesn't speak against Jesus Christ.

Just because one can repent of their sins and "not be under the law" doesn't mean they are no longer. Even Jesus said He came not to destroy the Law but fulfill it. How do you reconcile Peter saying Paul’s writings are scripture? Peter being an eye witness and hearing from Jesus confirming that Paul was right in what he was teaching? Just curious. Blessings.
From all the comments, I see that the Catholic and Protestant viewpoints have brought so many issues with the people commenting. I am Christian, but I do not fit in either of those religious camps. I would suggest that it is not the Biblical doctrine that is at fault, but rather, it is the Catholic/Protestant lens through which one looks that causes the real issues.
Another point….the Pauline epistles sent to the seven churches in Asia Minor-are addressing specific concerns with their individual members. One needs to realize that Paul’s letters are not intended to be comprehensive, but as a response to a particular concern (which concern may or may not be listed). I have no problem with Paul or with his epistles, however I do have a problem with the lens through which holy writ is being interpreted.
When Our ancestors left Europe coming to America for religious freedom-they left the control of the Catholic and Protestant Churches. At that time, many of these Christians refused to gather into these “organized religions” when they got here. Many were somewhere on the Deitism spectrum. Deitism basically questioned if God was at the head of those religions anymore (or ever) since the State was the true controlling factor. Our US founding fathers, recognized the danger in following after any religious institution-generally knowing how belief systems are susceptible to be infiltrated, controlled, and abused by the government.
As a US Citizen, I have a great distrust in any religion or belief system that is state sponsored. Notwithstanding this, I do believe in organized religion, because I know that God is not a god of confusion, but He is a god of justice and order, and we are to be unified having one shepherd, one faith, and one baptism.
Your viewpoint confuses me. You talk about the founding fathers of the United States moving away from the organized religions of Europe. You seem to endorse that guilding thought but then you go right back to promoting the dogma of the Roman Christian perspective. If that is your personal belief system do be it but don't state these things like they are tied to the United States form of government.
A. The difference with Christianity is that we actually believe Jesus when he said, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). There is no oneness (or reconciliation) with God apart from Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus is God made flesh (John 1:1-3,14; Colossians 1:15; Hebrews1:3) and the Saviour of the world (John 1:29; John 3:16-18). We believe that salvation or redemption of humanity is the work of God, through the resurrection of Jesus, which can only be accessed by faith, not works or human goodness (John 6:28-29; Romans 10:9; Ephesians 2:8-9).
B. And yes of course, subsequent to receiving the life of Christ/God, every believer (ideally) undergoes a process of spiritual growth and maturation by renewing the mind through the Word of God (Romans 12:1-2; James 1:22-25; Galatians 5:22-23) and the fruit of love and other virtues become quite evident when we encounter mature Christians (regardless of age). These good works being built upon the foundation of salvation - faith in Christ (Matthew 16:15-18; 2 Peter 1:5-8; 1 Corinthians 3:11).
C. The reality is that the teachings of Jesus didn't end with his earthly "red-letter" ministry but continues post-resurrection with the work of his Holy Spirit in the believer (John 14:16-17; John 16:7-13;) - the Spirit of God gives us capacity to truly understand the Word of God and be transformed by it, in order to be a blessing to others (Matthew 5:13-16; Philemon 1:6; 1 John 4:15-17).
D. Lastly, "Paul's gospel" is exactly what Jesus commissioned his disciples to preach and teach (Luke 24:44-48; Mark 16:15-16; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:22-38). Salvation through faith in Christ, followed by spiritual growth in the knowledge of Christ.

@GillAgainsIsland12 Jesus also wrote nothing about his incarnation, ministry, resurrection or ascension. It was prophesied and written thousands of years before he came and yet it was only through these prophecies and writings that Jesus himself could be identified as the messiah and believed upon. And of course, all that was not written by Jesus was fulfilled by him and proven to be true. The fact that he did not document it himself, does not invalidate what was documented.

I understand why people think Jesus is saying that works is how you enter the kingdom in the above passage but elsewhere Jesus tells us _exactly_ what this will of the Father is …

He told those to depart from him who practice lawlessness because they didn’t do the Father’s will of believing. They had the good works because that’s what they were bragging to Jesus about. They said “Lord, Lord, look at all these good works we done in your name!”

I'm not Christian, though I dabbled in it when I was younger, but the hypocrisy was a turn off. In 2012 I had Kundalini awakening, and a lot of drama followed, and one day, one and a half years later, I suddenly began forgiving myself for everything I had ever done to myself and others.
Before this someone had shown me my unhealthy thinking patterns and I broke that pattern completely, which broke EGo's hold on me. Forgiving myself broke the rest of EGo's hold. And a short time after that my Heart broke open, and I saw the light.
Much later I realized that I forgave my higher self. And after that, I realized higher self is what people would consider god or Jesus is. Thus I was forgiving god, for letting me do all this stuff and being hurt in ignorance. After literally seeing the light, I received grace. Everyone has it, but in EGo and thinking you are a person, you can no longer see from it.
And much later I realized we are the higher self, but thinking we're the life and body, we forget and eventually go to sleep.
Everyone is capable of knowing it. Everything and one is the one. It's possible to know URself.

But I've always had so many questions I went through a stage where I didn't like Jesus, until I actually learnt to understand: Jesus didn't tell people to worship him, he was not THE way. He came to show the WAY ❤ now I love him so much, for who he TRUELY IS.

Jesus is worthy of worship just as the Father. Jesus and the father are one in nature essence and name. In the kingdom of God to come, Jesus will be Lord over all nations and worshiped as seen in the vision of Daniel in Daniel 7:13.

Covenants forms the basis of relationships between God and Men.
The Sinai Covenant had it's Terms and Conditions being the Law and Commandments to be obeyed by the Jews and and God's blessings of they obeyed and curses if they didn't. The Jews were not able to fulfil their calling under the Sinai Covenant, so they largely inherited the curses.
God finally said the Jews have broken his covenant and promised a New Covenant in Jeremiah 31:32, which would be unlike the broken Sinai covenant.
So, who and what is the New covenant?
The righteous servant in Isaiah, righteous branch in Jeremiah, the Lord himself as messenger of the covenant in Malachi.

I was raised Christian too. Very religious home with a lot of emphasis on the law, punishment, spankings (oof), and not a lot of Love of God. I was scared into obedience and it wasn’t the best.
When I was baptized at 19 I had a lot of confusion around the Holy Spirit and I did want the gifts of the Spirit.
Then in 2020 I had the most profound dreams and this Presence overcame me. It was pure LOVE and acceptance, something I never knew growing up.
I had so much rejection. That’s life…
I heard This Love speak to my spirit and I started seeing miracles more.
I now KNOW Jesus not religion. Those two are very different.
Religion killed Jesus. I also agree with this man, taking care of our bodies is very important.
I do that too. ❤️ Forgiveness heals our hearts and I am learning this too.
But Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Very brave to share. The christian church does not have the original teachings of Yeshua/Jesus. In 1963, a man named Edward "Billy" Meier discovered a set of manuscripts in what was the real tomb of Yeshua near Jerusalem. It has what is believed to be the text which the New Testament gospels were based on. The gospels themselves were written by the Pisos Flavius family of Rome, not the original disciples. "The Gospel of Thomas" is also helpful, as are the writings of Lars Muhl and Paul Wallis if you want to learn about the Old Testament and what it was originally saying - before the edits in 325 AD.
Paul said that you are saved by faith. James said faith is dead without works. You my friend are the embodiment of the phrase "all things are possible with scripture quoted out of context."

Paul and James were both right. Jesus Christ said " by your words you shall be justified and by your words condemned" Jesus is giving us liberty according to what we say. According to your faith be it unto you. So they both Paul and James were used by God to write scriptures.

That translation you are using is very misleading. The Greek makes it clear that Peter is calling Paul's scribblings nonsense that leads those without written law to their destruction. The translators liked Paul, so shaped things as they desired. Do your own investigation.

I also could never accept The Bible as anything but a book written by Human men, containing some truth and wisdom (Christ's teachings), but also a lot of crap. Paul taught the same gospel as Jesus, saying what things were gain to me (before as a Pharisee) he now counted as dung, having given up his former life and clearly stating that all who want to be saved must follow his example anddo likewise. There's no contrast or differences between the Gospel of Paul and the teachings of James and the Apostles. They compliment one another perfectly and in all the glory of God, for Paul said that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone.. Paul then spoke, "where sin abounds grace abounded much more", asking, "so shall we sin that grace may abound?" He then shuttered, "God forbid."
Paul was essentially saying should we continue to sin, meaning the transgression of the law(1john), in order to magnify grace? No, God forbid.
Paul was standing on the principle that the righteous shall live by faith. Like Abraham, and how did we know, bc it is said that Abraham obeyed every command God give unto him.
Without obedience, merely proclaiming your faith but continuing to live in sin, is contrary to the lives of the saints. Does it not say that... through Christ we are overcomers and that all things are made possible through Him.
James wasn't in disagreement with any of what Paul taught. He was revealing the much deeper understanding of what it means to live as though you are judged by the Moral Law. Stating exactly what Jesus echoes in His statement about knowing His followers by the fruit which they produce...
How can you not see that they're not in one clear mind on these two first century church members.

Jesus Christ(God) needing teachings from men is like saying what the pharasis were saying denying His Godhood and hang him on the Cross for equating Himself with God.
I think Jesus and Paul taught the same Gospel but people take Paul out of context. Thinking "works" is the same works the Jews practiced in the law, therefore nullifying faith and works/action...going hand and hand. Most make it seem like mere lip service will save you, thats taking Paul out of context.

Here’s the interesting thing, when I decided to seek for truth, I came to the same understanding and was literally shown I was on the Christ consciousness path and have experienced supernatural things that the church doesn’t speak about. In fact the exact words spoken to me during a meditation was, “You have reached Christ consciousness and you are ascending. You never have to come back again.” So what does that tell you?? As an "awakened" new ager I dissed Paul (once or twice) thinking I knew better, but now I'm BORN AGAIN I see better. I SEE he was full of the same *Spirit* filling me - and that's ALL I need to know about Paul: that he was anointed by the *Holy Spirit* (which testified of Jesus through him). Paul was appointed by *Jesus Himself* and HE don't make mistakes.
Paul's personality shows through in his writings even as all the authors of scripture do. But Paul isn't simply rehearsing something that he sat down and learned and meditated and said "well now this is what I'll write." No, he wrote as he was moved by the *Holy Spirit.*

We have to stress Paul's Apostleship for the *church age* as over and against *Christ's Ministry* in the Gospels; but people cry, *"I'm gonna go with what Jesus said."* They're well meaning but NOT THINKING. Everything Jesus said in his earthly ministry - with exception of the last chapters of the gospels (after His resurrection) - was BEFORE THE CROSS. He hadn't died yet; his blood hadn't been shed and nothing is mooted of that.
Jesus came to His People ISRAEL but was prophesied to be a LIGHT unto the Gentiles (Isaiah 49:6, Luke 2:32) Paul was BLINDED by Jesus' LIGHT in *Acts 26:12-18* and HE brought that LIGHT to the Gentiles.
*Rightly DIVIDE the Word of Truth!* When you go by what Jesus said in his earthly ministry you're going by that which is BEFORE THE CROSS. When you get to the *Apostle Paul* he makes it so plain that everything he writes he receives from the Lord in *(((GLORY))).* It's still the Words of Jesus only now it's in the time that's most appropriate: POST Resurrection. I've never felt comfortable with Paul's warning (to the Galatians) to follow 'no other gospel', but his. It always seemed to me to be more self-serving than benevolent. Will take Jesus' teachings over his any day.

Gal 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be under a curse! 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be under a curse!
Very strong language, yes. But even if he changes his mind and preaches something else, reject it. This is a strong Apostle protecting the sheep even from his own possible mis-steps.

So not sure about the source...but I think in the Law of One...we are told that Paul didn't meant to start off a religion that put Jesus on a pedestal. He wanted to share what Jesus had lived. But went about it in such a way that instead of glorifying THE KINGDOM OF GOD BEING WITHIN...ended up making an enlightened human into The Savior. ❤

There's a lot of thing very negative in the Bible too. Like Christianity was spread by sword, history tells that. Pagans were brutally converted. Then there were a lot more stuff Bible(especially old one) preaches like how to sell your daughters, kill those who work on Saturdays, the earth is flat, women are to submit to their husbands, weird superstitions, etc.
As the book of Ra says, they and maybe other ETs have tried again and again to change the primitive ways of people, but people somehow reverted back to their own ways. Maybe because humans were still very much in lower densities. However now, it's possible to talk about these law of one because people have left their old ways to some extent.

The victim and the perpetrator both unknowingly happen to be responsible for an event. Because both have come together attracted by similar frequencies.

This is why we should do something good without belonging to a group or making it our identity. The soul's nature is to be love. The soul doesn't need another identity for it.

Aaron, Im not a believer in organized religion, but my wife introduced me to a church she has been a part of her whole life. She, too, believes there is much more beyond the bible. All the people I have met so far have been really good people believing God is love. We recently took up the opportunity to help out with the youth and I am curious as to your thoughts on this. You say leaving the church was a great thing for you but I believe I can be of service to these people and help shine the light on Jesus's real teachings. Do we need to stop going to church just because we have a better understanding of these teachings and the evolution of consciousness?

Love the way you present the connections between different sources. Not sure why you would misquote Acts 9:5 which doesn't include the word Nazarene. Look it up in Greek. Also not sure why you pit Paul's "gospel" against Matthew. Paul says plenty about good works. Ephesians 2:8-10 says it clearly enough. Also at least the words of Paul have a good likeliness of being actually spoken by Paul than the words of Jesus, recorded in Matthew likely generations later. I'm on your side here, but let's keep standing on solid ground, brother. Keep up the good work!

Delores Cannon's book Jesus and the Essenes is fascinating. It makes the verses in the bible seem like reading a table of contents as opposed to reading the whole book.

Agree with other commenters that Paul did not reach a different gospel. There may be some social differences, but Paul said if we died with him, we will also live with him. If we share in his sufferings, then we will also share, and his resurrection and kingdom. That implies we must die to ourselves and live the life that is Christ. goes way beyond mere confession.

Where has this been my whole life. I often wondered about the teachings of today's Christianity. I am shocked....but not shocked. How many lies have been told over the years? How many people have been led astray? Very sad. So glad I found this information. This is much needed in my personal belief system. I too came from "the modern day church" belief system. Wow! I can't believe what I'm hearing. I also concluded sometime back that Christianity as we know it is dictated by Paul and his interpretations. As a lover of Jesus, I stopped identifying as a Christian upon this revelation. It's the first time I hear someone voice what I felt.

We know that much editing and forgeries were done at the councils of Nicaea and Constantinople. Much of that involved the canonical gospels and Paul's writings. Most folks are unequipped to wade through that . Just the concepts of 'salvation' and the 'kingdom of heaven' if seen in their proper light would set people free from what traditional Christianity believes. Salvation or to be saved means 'Wholeness' it has nothing to do with pearly gates and such. The kingdom of heaven or more accurately the realm or domain of God is again not a place to get to when one kicks the bucket here, but rather is a state of being that Yeshua said in the canonical gospels as well as the gospel of Thomas. It is within and it is now...the so called new birth is what Yeshua was talking about as well in regards to this. Being born again is a spiritual awakening...but to Paul's credit he saw the contrast of the "carnal mind " Vs. the "spiritual mind". And exhorted people to walk in that "newness of life". Paul had a lot right on the money and my guess is what seems off color is the result of editing and forgery.

Historian Dr. Jake Wasenstein in the Jewish Chronicle did an article saying Islam Saved the Jews. The Muslims protected the Jews in Spain for 800 years.

I agree with most of the sentiment here, but easy to throw the baby out with the bath water; Paul did emphasize in his words, “to bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.” And if you don’t love “you are nothing.” Paul emphasized Christ’s words and I see the characterizations of Paul here in this podcast very disingenuous.
This is the second interview on this channel that I’ve seen introduce a new age perspective on Jesus, both full of blatant mischaracterizations and out right fabrications to push some personal philosophy. It’s all about THEM and THEIR new religions.
