Once again you have created a great tutorial. I was taught that the "ladder stitch" as you call it was a "blind stitch" because you can't see it when you're done. Funny how many names things have sometimes. Your tutorial is so easy to follow as always. Thanks! 💝💝💝💝💝

I just found your tutorial. I was looking for a pattern for a neck pillow for quite a while. Your tutorial was great. Thanks. Will make a few for my myself and my family. Also great way to use all the fabric I have.
I enjoyed watching your tutorial. I like that it was succinct and also included hints and tips as well. A lot of video instructions waste a lot of time. Yours was quick, simple and easy to understand. I'm going to make a bunch of these pillows as gifts.
Thanks for the feedback Heidi.🙏. These pillows are great as gifts! A little tip too. Sometimes cheaper to buy pillows and use the stuffing rather than buying craft stuffing….I’ve made many of these for gifts. Thanks for watching. More to come…..
This is perfect for dogs! Poodles, maltese, and other long haired dogs have to get groomed often and a pillow helps them they comfortable, and elevates the head for easy grooming and topknots.

Hi Angela👋. The best travel pillow . I had the circular one around my neck…it made me too hot. Spent lots of money buying that , I was disappointed. This one is a better option . My daughter wants bone pillow made of velvet, in emerald green. I told her sewing velvet is slippery and I would have to learn more tricks and tips to work with such fabric . Any tips for me? I like your idea of elastic loop👍👍 Thanks again for another gift idea!
Hi Berniece! I was just looking at a beautiful vintage Dior dress in emerald green velvet today! One of my favourite colours. Velvet is nasty to sew with. Lots of pinning is the trick and hold on tight from both sides. Use a walking foot if you have one. You may be better to look for velour or a stretch velvet or crushed velvet thats a bit finer. Also don't use memory foam chips for this pillow. I tried that thinking it might be better support but it looked and felt awful. I was all lumpy and looked kind of gross..😂
@@NotchesSewing : no walking foot . Lots of pins…..I get pricked so often .🤣 well… I like flannel but I don’t think I have ever seen solid colour green emerald flannel…. I have used one of these pillows at night, for years. Now, I can replace it, instead of worrying, about it falling apart, (from age) when I put it through the washer.
You can make by adding a long zip along one of the seams. If you want to create it as an insert, just make pillow with lightweight fabric without the ties
