tHANK YOU SIR. Just bought a 14 ft. alum. boat WITH 6 HP MOTOR.and bought a bunch of gear on craigslist. tOTAL COST: $1200.00 AND A cOYOTE TRAP. Live in Lewisville for 10 yrs. Garland for 65. Have not fished for over 60 yrs. but going to start again. tHANK YOU FOR YOUR INFORMATION. iF YOU EVER NEED A FISHING PARTNER THAT KNOWS HOW TO KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT, HIT ME UP. oLD BROKE DOWN COP.
I used to live in the Colony, my brother and I would go to little elm to put in. Then we would go north in i'l l we were in the trinity for about 4 or 5 miles to the dam of Ray Robert's. The drift back down to littlen elm was always veryproductive. We would both limit out on big slabs miss those times live in the Vay Island's now. Different fishing, deep sea and good catches.
Man, I have Scoured timber and brush piles for hours with no fish in sight, I’ve found fish only to be blown off them by the wind, spot-lock doesn’t work under bridges,....yes when you side-scan and find timber or brush, livescope helps you decide to fish it or not but it’s not magic. If the “halfwit” can’t find where the fish are, livescope is worthless. Worthless for cats and Bass mostly too.
@@BarFlyFishingTexas I understand. I have fished using both, when you find fish and use live scope to see their reactions, they gonna bite or not bite, it's a game changer. Also Livescope videos been out a couple of years, from the very best pro fishing to you just now having LiveScope. And all videos greatly appreciated. They need two thumbs up likes.
Nice video buddy. I've done basically the same thing you did. I bought a 1987 Lowe aluminum boat that's 16' with a 40 hp Mercury and decked it out with the same seats you've got. Put an Ultrex on it and a Garmin Panoptix LiveScope on it and love, Love, LOVE it. The biggest thing I've learned with the Garmin is that while it won't catch fish for you, it will certainly tell you if they don't like the color your using. So switch up until you find a color they want. Then hang on for the ride. LOL
Scheels in the Colony. Bonehead tackle. I’m trying to work with Bonehead but they are holding me off, probably not a big enough channel yet. Need more subs and views. 🤷🏻♂️
last friday (off work at 11 am) my brother and I hit that LakeView Marina area you tried last week ....it was so darn windy in our Topwater PDL's that we had to give up on the area around that gas fillup area...BUT, we went around the back side of the marina and found a wood pier pole to fish....personal best 15 inch black crappie, then 3, 2 foot gar fish, 2 white bass, 2 largemouths, 1 catfish.......then as that friday nite storm came in we were lucky enuf to see coming , and got off.....going back on a more fishable day.....btw....released that crappie when we didn't fill the stringer.....
Nice Crappie! I have thought about fishing that same arm of the lake and now I am going to need to load up the kayak and head out there once the weather stops being so grouchy.
Great vid! Have you ever heard of/considered using a Todd Huckabee rod? The 14' is a beast, and I'll betcha money you won't lose as many fish. Plus, that 14' allows you to reach out and get those spooky fish without being almost on top of em with a shorter ultralight when using livescope. Just a suggestion - keep up the great work!
Really enjoying your videos. If you're able to put the camera on the Garmin once in a while, that would be additionally helpful in learning what makes you so successful. Thanks again for putting these out.
I fish a different place everyday. It’s not about the spot it’s about the depth and structure. Right now it’s post Spawn on submerged trees in 20 foot of water. Doesn’t matter the lake or anything it’s just those physical traits
Mannnnnnn what kind of lures ?
That is a barndoor crappie!

log jams as big as a football field and silt prevent you from doing that now.
What bait were you using?
Thanks I learn a lot from that video , most " Crappie Fisherman " are scared to give up there location ! I call it greedy ! Much success to you !
Livescope is a game changer.
Like a new toy. lol
Good job you make entertaining videos.
thanks

Barfly Fishing Texas I’m ready to, that boat ramp is only minutes away!
Going fishing 🎣 on Lewisville tomorrow morning any good spot for me and my buddy to catch crappie and bass ?
Lewisville is tough. Off and on bad. Try the bridges, low hanging fruit. Timber north of El Dorado bridge too
@@BarFlyFishingTexas yes sir thanks we met the one time at Lake Lavon with your son you just launched your boat. Off the dock.
Lake Lewisville is my home lake. I'm there once a week, 10 min from work. Wear them slabs out. 👍🐟
Nice slabs man way to get on them
Those are some good slabs! Great video!

Good video Terry. I fish there a lot during the winter. Especially after a duck hunt.
And the baby cry was funny.

Dam that look fun bro...
Hey BarFly in this vid, can I kayak to it? And if you don’t mind where did you park at? Thanks!!!
Yes. Doe Branch boat launch in Providence Village, off 380 in Little Elm
Were you able to vertical jig crappie standing up when you had your kayak?
Absolutely. Go back and watch my videos from last November.
This is today??
Yesterday
I thought crappie season over
There’s only a Crappie season for people that don’t know how to catch Crappie 🤣
You are correct that why I am watching your clip
How light of a reel are you using ?
Like a Shimano 1000 series or a 2500 series ?
Just curious.
Keep up the good work and thanks for all the info .
Abu, Silver Maxx 2000
Thank you
Great vid!

My wife said " what in the hell are you watching " when that baby cry came on 🤣👍
🤣🤣
Nice crappies there buddy!! Is there any way I can contact you for information of the places were you fish?

Barfly Fishing Texas thank you for the tips buddy!!
Can you take people out to the lake on your boat to fish?
Bryan Garcia, I used to have a guide license. May renew it soon
@Barfly Fishing Texas Ok buddy and when you renew it would you take people out to fish?
That laugh at the end though lmao
