Hey Frank nice job. I also avoided drilling into the body, but used The Dream Car Company Billet Sideview Mirror. VERY nice piece which integrates into the top windwing bracket. You saved some $ and your idea looks good.
I really like this and would like to do this on my Cobra but cannot find the spacer tubes anywhere in the UK. Any chance you could post me a set of spacers please?
@@BanginGearsGarage watching your video, it looks like you tightened the stud quite a bit w/ those pliers. I assumed this would have stripped any brass threads.
Matt I just got the spacers for you at Lowes. I bought you 2 of each for 2 mirrors (Driver and Passenger side) my email is frankr1206@gmail.com shoot me your number.

pastenseverb Thank you!!!!!! Just starting out but have some great ideas for videos. Stay tuned.
Thanks, Here’s a couple. A rebuild on the door latches and a rebuild of the headlights. Those mounting tabs stink.
assuming you have the SS Whitby inserts? I've heard the stock brass ones strip super easily.
Yes just be super careful to not over tighten
