    The films document a traditional way of breeding and managing Fell Ponies that is endangered by the changing patterns of farming. landscape and society.

    I have a grade pony. He is a Fell want to be. A good pony is one you fall in love with.

    They say no young people will take over but I would love the opportunity do breed pony’s native to my area . I might never get Rich doing it but deep down I know I would be saving a part of my heritage

    They're stunning. They're like smaller Friesians. Beautiful horses. The sad part, the land they need to be 'free' on is what's disappearing - areas for recreation and housing eating up the wild lands. Railway lines, roads, housing... human destruction of what is perfect nature.
