Key is not thinking about it too hard, but "enjoying the dance", in the way people go to parties and just get on down to the music. Learning dance moves or styles is just adding to the repertoire of your natural expression. It becomes refined muscle memory, and before you know it, you're just dancing, as opposed to "trying" to dance. It's why groove is the most important foundation, if you can get people to "bounce" to a track, without thinking, just enjoying that groove, then they'll better concieve of what it means to be a dancer.

You've grown so much in this series, I swear! Great great job! The drill here is one of the best out there. It's quite dynamic. It's actually fun to do this with a partner! It's called the Turning or Passing 4s and 8s. 1 4-count phrase for person A, and then the next 4-count phrase for person B, and repeat the process. It's a great drill to do, and the other person can also monitor your dance (on serious mode), or you can just simply dance together in the drill. Haha. I'm running out of predictions as to the next content, but I'm sending you something on IG!

awesome stuff man, i've seen other tutorials that focused more on combinations but i've always liked locking for having seemingly endless potential in dancing with a couple of core moves. this video helped solidify that idea for me, definitely gonna be looking into the specific move tutorials too at some point ^^
