Always wondered why they recorded "I Against I" as early as 1980 but they didn't record it for the ROIR SESSIONS or ROCK FOR LIGHT..... it's one of their greatest songs.
Noice🤘🏾🔥, I play bass and I like Darryl Jenifer’s bass player. He’s an awesome and amazing bass player. Dr. Know’s an amazing, kickass guitar player. He can shred. Earl Hudson’s a kickass drummer. HR is a kickass extreme, energetic frontman. He’s a good guitar player. I like the current lineup of Bad Brains which includes HR, Dr Know, Darryl Jenifer and Earl Hudson on vocals, guitar, bass and drums respectively and Chogyi IIama on rhythm guitar. Chogyi’s an amazing guitar player and musician. Bad Brains is awesome. Other than that, cool:).
This take of "I against I" was way ahead of its time! This type of punk/metal crossover would not be in vogue till 86-87 ('cept for Motorhead, of course!)...

These songs are mixed perfectly. A very low end bass, loud bass kicks, and ambient guitar, no muddle. Great demos.

HR is a musical prophet and he's been correct on everything and they called him crazy for it which is quite normal.
