The reason Hanazuki was canceled was because due to low sales of toys, titmouse Inc stopped the production of the show, leaving it in development hell until hasbro could find another studio to animate the rest of season 2 and 15 shorts, there's a petition to save hanazuki to get out of her hiatus

I don't know why the save hanazuki petition is rated 13+ ( I think to pretend grooming or because of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) compliaces)
